Just a description of the technical specs in layman's terms, just in case anyone was truly interested: (I'm not gonna be a regular anytime soon, but was dreadfully bored) 1st Prize - Mouse is good - PMW 3310 is used in (slightly) older high-end mice. Works really well, just avoid maxing the DPI value. However, the weight might be a bit heavy at 112 grams. Keyboard is meh - RGB is nice, but nothing notable - the switches are membrane, probably made of the same rubber your current keyboard has. 2nd Prize - Keyboard is meh - same exact thing as first prize keyboard except no RGB lights. 3rd Prize - Mouse is bad - Sensor is on par with a throwaway work mouse. At least the weight is notably lighter at 102 grams.

I haven't returned in ages, so I'm highly unfamiliar with the second rebalance. What should be my first M3 Turret? Thunder, Hammer or Firebird? I've personally enjoyed Hammer the most, so i'm leaning more towards that. I'll be using it with M3 Hunter (when I get it).

No, you realize that he's implying something close to an Elo system with that...? If anything, that's the closest to an ideal system. The biggest problems i've seen with Elo systems is hackers, alt accounts and/or demoralization from worse players.

I know this is slightly old, but you realize that one major factor in videogame ratings is that online interactions are not rated by the ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) or something like that. (at least in the states) That has nothing to do with it. Sorry for the really bad tangent, but I hate gold catching partly because i'm bad, partly because the people that beg admins for gold and the fact I never get them to drop anyway. Don't even get me started on the salt that happens AFTER a gold

This is a fair and legit post, but I feel that one thing is missing. I'm probably reading the whole topic wrong, but I don't think it's the lack of instant help that people find frustrating. Rather, it's the lack of help after a situation. Maybe you can also compare it to real life. When you get robbed and you call the police, they are too late sometimes. (hey! this is a copy and paste! wait for it) ...Then the police say that you never got robbed in the first place. I think a situation like that is why players are frustrated. Of course, players could have handled said previous situations very poorly, but that was definitely a detail I felt that was missing.

Most of this depth isn't even depth, it's the community. Look at all the people commenting about the community. I really doubt many actually play for the "skill based game play", "teamwork focused game play", "difficult but extremely satisfying gameplay" or even "fun gameplay" unless they haven't played any other game. Even if people have played more games (not Kid Pix. I mean what people call the "hardcore games". Jeez, they sound terrible now.), I doubt anyone would say that "Tanki has more depth than <Game that involves shooting guns to loot guns that do different things to shoot those guns and to loot more things where you play as a character with a unique skill tree> or <the game where some major company that sells you digitally downloaded PC games at a low price has revived and added skins to where the whole game is based around how cool your gun looks rather than the skill but the game is difficult to play, since it has a lot of strategy choices and it a team-based fps> Why the heck would I want to play a game I am bored of if it's only for the community? Then I'm not playing "Tanki Online", I'm playing "Social Chat Room Where You're A Tank Or Whatever". I doubt anyone reading understands this. I'm coming back to TO and I'm quite glad that I still like my old setup (Wasp, Hunter - Firebird, Hammer, Thunder: all M2) But I'm really close to Brigadier so I can finally get M3s! As a result, I have a bunch of decisions. :( Would you recommend that I... ...get M3 Thunder during a sale and use that to get to my other unlocks ASAP? OR ...Use my combos until M3 Hammer and Wasp unlock and hopefully earn the rest (excluding Hunter) trough daily missions? Also, should I get other paints instead of Cedar and Tundra for my rough journey into the M3 Ranks? (Excluding upgrades such as Emerald and Prodigi, respectively)
