Why are you guys so busy on converting the tris into quads? You do realise that the texture would be misplaced once you've modified the 3D structure. What do you intend to do?

CTRL+T: quads -> triangles ALT+J: triangles -> quads The tool is not good and I did not fully understand how it works.

Yeah, blender can't calculate odd number of vertices very well. Triangles are only used by game developers coz of low poly count.
