Yes, they do. What some English Community folks don't understand however (and the Tanki Online Staff/Developers have said/implied it countless times making it absurd) is that not all opinions are good, and that the Tanki Developers are looking at their ideas, but can't take them all. More than 80% of the opinions here are exaggerated or useless to the Tanki Online developers. I don't get it. The players are only thinking of themselves, and are constantly and consistently asking for sales. Almost everyday I will see on the forum or chat, "When the next sale?" or something of the sort. Or their thinking of making the prices times by times cheaper. We, as the English Community, are not taking into considering of the costs to the developers if they implement these updates. Would they lose money? Would it eventually lead to that? Could they build other updates off of that? Mostly the first question. The advertisements I believe (which was first discussed by skitee AFAIK. It was then either popped into other players' heads or some players had some ideas to help that idea) is one spectacular idea. My whole point of this post is this---Is the English Community thinking of themselves, or logically for everyone? And from what I've seen, most of the opinions here are the former.

um....have you been paying attention? They've been giving us all countless sales, including recent turrets 50%, hulls 25%, Score Multiplier pass 90% (which everybody bought, thus was a great sale), and paints 50%. The temporary increased battlefunds DO make a difference, I would like to see this. I'll play as much as possible in those increased battle fund days, as I love the idea. They may make another sale soon. -

He did not, actually. He just said it's closer than you think ;) He could mean it's tomorrow, but don't say something bold like that without evidence, please. -

Just because there's a new update, doesn't mean it's going to be a big one, and doesn't mean it's going to be much of one at all to be worth mentioning. -

A good idea, I was just asking why, as a normal player, would you want to not be located? But okay. Putting it as a setting wouldn't be so bad. -

By your own friend? What kind of friend is that, that you wouldn't even want to be known your there by your own friend? What if your friend is having doubts in life, and though it sounds weird, just talking with them and letting them know you're their friend, though on cyber, brightens them up. If a friend says "Hi Jonathan" when I'm not chatting and scanning the chat, I say "Hey" back with a smile. Well thank-you for the complement, I like to colorfully portray things ^_^ I know that moderators play too, but I thought more often then not they are scanning the chat. Also, from the moderators I've seen, then often don't chat while in battle. I don't understand why moderators don't want their friends to locate them. In battle, if a friend is bugging you from trying to efficiently playing the game, kindly tell them, "Hey, may you please not chat to me anymore. I'm trying to play hard and get a good score." If you're planning on chatting afterward, or don't have plans and wouldn't mind, tell them "I'll chat with you after this battle" and they'll feel better and usually will leave you alone and play hard themselves--win-win. If not, ignore that last part. If you're a member of the Staff, you should be kind outside of moderating. :) Calling you paranoid isn't the complete truth, but not a lie either. You're more than not paranoid ;) -

Kits aren't so too over-powered in my opinion. They're meant to give a player an advantage. You're exaggerating on how powered kits are. Maybe kits should be brought up rank a little bit like Light m2=Third Lieutenant (but Warrant Officer 5 is a fine rank as one of the paints in there is lame--In Love--not much of a paint, looks and protection), Heavy m2=First Lieutenant, Medium m2=Captain, but I don't mind kit buyers all that much. If they're willing to pay, then they deserve a small but significant advantage. I had a Medium m2 Kit player on my team and he could turn his turret, he had skills (depending on what you define as having "skills" but he had more skills than 85% of Thunder+Viking players), and he was destroying and even drugging time to time. I ranked ahead of him after a 1 hour Future battle. The game is not totally so unbalanced as you say, but just a little towards the buyer side of things, which absolutely is how it should be. While supplies are over-powered, it's something that should not be removed. Supplies are part of the reason why Tanki is fun. Without Nitro, gameplay would be boring, and there would almost always have to be a time limit to every battle without supplies. Supplies are what decides who's strategical (using their supplies wisely) and who's clueless (not using their supplies in a critical situation, but using them otherwise). There are not that many constant druggers. I've joined around 10 battles today (various ranks involved). Only 2 of them featured players that were drugging fully, but only from time to time with many minutes in-between the drugs, 2 of them featured a player who was drugging more than not, 1 of them featured a constant drugger, and 1 of those 5 featured more than one drugger, but not so hard. Battles are not so bad with supplies, and if you know an enemy is drugging, laugh at them on the inside and use as much skill as possible against them. It'll allow you to not have so much hatred for an object that is only highly over-powered in your mind because you let it get to you. Maybe some battles need to be limited a bit, but not too much. Brandy had a great idea. She (or he, but I think GoodKn1ght called her/him a she) thought of the idea that we should limit the cool-down. While I believe her/his 2-3 minutes is outrageous, I do agree that 25 or 40 seconds would be just right, and not too out of the box. Maybe one rank raised, but the idea of the current ranks is not too bad. The kits will definitely not be removed, according to , though there is confirmation they will be limited time only, then new/different kits will be introduced. I'm guessing with a 3-4 month gap in between. They're not really saying there won't be a rebalance. But the developers are using it as a title. A title representing the extraordinary update last December that changed everything completely. Just something to keep in mind. The developers are not doing another one of the "Rebalance"s like they did last December, but just bit by bit changing the turrets and hulls parameters so they become more balanced ;) -

FreeSpeech, I understand where you're coming from, but I believe you misunderstood what the developers meant when they said this. They didn't mean that they'll completely balance every hull and turret in equality. They meant that they will balance it better according to the price. Ricochet is underpowered to its price, the developers are going to set the powerfulness to what it should be. Dictator m3 will be better. (What's odd is that I can't quote you) -

I've considered the fact. That's why I don't have Chat Moderators on my friends list. Honestly, why friend people if you're a Chat Moderator unless you know they're not going to bug you unnecessarily. I'll friend Consultants since their main job is to consult and be out there, not stand in the bushes and ban players--though they can do that too--but that's not their main purpose. Regular Players don't mind, forum moderators wouldn't mind much, other than Chat Moderators, there's not many players that would NOT want you to know where they are, they don't care. You're a Chat Moderator, so I understand your point of view. Just make sure all your friends know that unless you speak in chat, do NOT speak to you, as a Chat Moderator. If they ignore, then don't have them as your friend. -

Some things about changes in balance and refund
JonathanBernatowicz replied to semyonkirov in News Archive
You're right. It won't hurt nobody. It would hurt everybody. A refund would cause econimical problems and countless technical problems that would result in a bad update like update 123 which ruined the happiness of players at that time. No, 40 seconds is a lot more fair, and won't shake the gameplay completely. You're really saying that if a player knows how to use his drugs wisely, and uses them at the end of a battle where his team is down by 2 flags and there's a whole lot of fund with 2 minutes left. He drugs once, captures a flag. Then what? His drugs run out and he can't use them again and all that score that he used inthe length of that battle is destroyed and he feels shattered. 40 seconds at the most--25 seconds sounds like it would be complete fair and won't ruin gameplay though. -
There will be no refund unfortunately. There is much more cost than benefit, than what you'd think. Here's what a developer said. There may be! Stay tuned! :)
