Same kind of thing happened to me once, although it was in Monte Carlo. I saw the gold box sitting on the lower part, no one else saw. So i put some nitro on and as i started to go down there, the server restarted! Horrible :0

I think the game needs drugs, i mean it is most likely Tanki's biggest profit in the game and they need to make money ya know. Also its nice to use some when you see a gold box, so you can have a chance to get it and not get destroyed right off the bat. That's just my opinion.. :)

DCC i barely get these days. Crystal rewards are even rarer. All i really get are endless amounts of drugs, which i'm not complaining about. :)

Does it happen in every map, or only certain maps? I know the only map i lag in, that i know of, is Gallery.
