Good idea, I think it would be nice to see some water features in maps. However, tank interaction with the water (ie, submerging yourself) is a completely different thing and may bring a few problems. All in all, I don't think anyone would complain about a few water features! :)

This would ruin the balance of the gameplay in my opinion, here are a few of the reasons: 1) As said before, if someone is attacking your base and you're dueling them, if you can instantly self-destruct the enemy will be fighting with a full hp tank within a matter of seconds.. 2) Leading on from the last point, if your flag was under seige, all you'd have to do is type 'flag' in the chat and all of a sudden everyone would self-destruct to return to base and fight of the flag carrier. 3) It would be a lot harder for anyone to get kills, including yourself. It already annoys me when Thunders self-destruct, I don't want everyone with any weapon doing the exact same thing. OP, think about your idea carefully and why it wouldn't work as you'd expect.
