The Punto switcher is a free program that is designed to help our work by switching the keyboard layout. It detects if you are typing in Russian or English and automatically switches the keyboard lay out accordingly. Now this is a program that you have to download and install in order to use it such that if you do not know what a Punto switcher is already, chances are that the message which appears in the chat room does not apply to you. It is used by people (players) who speak both Russian and English. So the punto is not something that is inbuilt in Tanki or your operating system as it appeared to be. That was the impression I got and I went searching through the settings for it. So we'll have to look else where to sort out our lag issues. :( If you're one of those who actually uses it, or do not know if your computer uses it, then click here for more information so you can compare with your PC. like i said, my internet connection cannot support tankionline anymore. i can hardly log on these days. once i heard of the Chinese version, i went to check it out and it plays well. there is some lag but i can bear with it well, that's until they implement rebalance. tanki was the best multiplayer game i knew that could run on this connection. after this, i guess I'll have to concentrate on work and get out more often

I noticed some battles ending before the time on the clock runs out. the last time i was in one that was 30 minutes long and it ended after less that 15 minutes. how come? another thing, when viewing the battle list from the members area, a battle can have the clock run out of time but instead of resetting to the original time for a new match, the clock changes to 0:0-1 and remains like that why?

i've tried that but it doesn't actually highlight for one to see that it has higlighted. so i go ahead and do the Ctrl + C and most of the time it gets the players name instead of the message though i didn't highlight it.

i think i'm using the english one, everything on the site is in english. i also try to choose server 5 where most english speaking players are but that is not always possible. of recent i've been having problems with logging and playing games, i can only log into server 18 these days after retrying atleast once. in the meantime i've been playing the chinese version of tanki. but now i cannot chat in battle and in the members area. this is the google translated message i get, what does it mean? and why? I got warned in a battle chat because of flood., now i was not doing what is stated in the terms. What happed was that I was trying to talk to some players and also commenting on some things that happened in the game but no one replied. this happened over a period of about 10 minutes. i got the warning when i posted the 5th message which did not appear on the screen. why did i get wrarned? did the system view it as a flood because it was all coming from the same person? now days if i don't get a reply or if no one else posts a message of their own after 3 of mine, i just shut up
