I know people say turrets first but... hornet m1 or rail m1 :P

How fast does the battlefund go up in higher ranked matches?

I used to have the same problem bro. Battle fund is a collection of money like a "bank" for a game. At the end of the game, you can collect part of the battle fund. The ENTIRE battle fund amount is split between all the players and the amount of the share you get depends on your score and whether or not you are on the winning team. The iwnning team gets about 80% of the fund while the losing team gets about 20ish. The 1st place person of the winning on average will get about 50% of the total fund (so most of the 80%) but it can be lower if second place almost has the same score. So basically, join matches that you can FINISH and try to win and get 1st place ;)

I have like 600 right now (I have spent about 250) and I've been playing a few weeks (not too much daily really but I've definitely been playing) and it seems like it'll take forever to buy any decent m1, let alone a m2/3 turret (O_O)... Is it slow for everyone, or am I doing something wrong?

I have almost 400 crystals (not much I know) and unlocked mammoth m1 recently. I can buy it now and I've heard it's ridiculously good for it's price but I do not plan to upgrade mammoth to m2/3 as I want to use either hornet or viking for m2-3. I know that m1 mammoth will be significantly better than either hornet or viking m0 however and I was wondering if even I were not to use mammoth m2/3, would it be worthwhile to buy it and use it while waiting to upgrade my hornet/viking?

I've heard that it's a good idea to try and find one that you like or are good at but is it worth the money?

so if I eventually want to get m1 rail, should I upgrade hornet to m1 or viking to m1? Hornet is pretty good for speed but I find that there are situations when I just run into a thunder or something and I'm dead really really fast and can't do much about it Viking is a good balance of health and speed and I play well with it but I'm not sure if it will be better than the hornet

So I like rail a lot, I really do, and I really want to become good at using it and eventually upgrade to m3. But I'm losing hope for that now... Whenever I use rail, I barely scratch even with my k/d (with very occasional good runs like 20-0 or something like that but very rare and when there aren't a lot of enemy shafts/rails). I can only stand up to other tanks when I have cover to pop out, shoot, and come back but when there isn't, I get shafted, thundered, you name it. Freeze+firebird dominate me and thunder beats me even in long range duels USING cover cause he can hurt me when I take cover. I do really well with my isida and am considering upgrading that instead of my rail... please convince me to do otherwise!

I don't need dictator for height to hit things :P I figured out a neat little trick you can do with some lighter hulls. 1. start firing 2. move back during firing animation 3. right before you actually fire, stop moving back Your tank will recoil backwards from stopping and fire, giving you a greater height to hit things with. (I've countersniped a few puzzled shafts perched on rooftops with this xD)

also, mammoth m3 or viking m3 for rail? And what is a good combo for Free for all deathmatches?

Ok so I only have 200 crystals right now and mainly use just vanilla rail, shaft, viking, and mammoth. Should I spend 180 right now for Isida and then head for the rail m1/viking m1 which I want or go straight for them?

Hello people! I'm still fairly new to tanki (few weeks) and have many turrets and hulls but like two turrets more so than others, those being the railgun and the shaft. It's getting to a point where I need to pick either railgun or shaft to upgrade (m1-m2-m3) and before I make the investment I want to make the right choice. I really like the railgun but the shaft seems to outdo it at sniping and close range (quick zoom+hit=dead usually). So is one definitively better than the other at later upgrades/ in general? (I use viking with rail, mammoth with shaft)
