It can abuse the battles. :/ Someone can just rent one of those, and go to a battle and earn what, 300 Crystals in less than an hour? Might as well make private rooms just for testing those weapons. Besides, why a 10 crystal penalty every 1 minute? Might as well let it disappear automatically. There could be sellbacks. But the return-crystals would have to be like 25% of the original price or something. Maybe even less.

Anyone know any specific strategies on how to use Twins? I don't use it very often, but I know the basics. Shoot Non-stop, terrorize entrances, and ram other tanks. Lol.

Yeah. I've battled with another guy. He had Twins M2, and some kind of, I think M3 Mammoth. He killed a M3 Thunder and M3 Viking or so, so easily. Twins is worth the Crystals I guess. ( But too bad, I've chosen Wasp as my hull. Not ideal for Twins right? -Facepalm- Time for rail. :D )

Ehrm, sometimes it's good to have one or two people who do that. (I'm not saying all the time- like the ones who don't even kill the enemies or ignore the flag for the crystals) One or two can always leave the main battle front and go solo to make sure enemy tanks don't sneak in on hidden passage ways. That's what I do. It's easier to get your own kills, and seek out Crystal- sometimes even gold- boxes. I protect my team like that, terminating all who dare to sneak past. LOL. Especially since I'm equipped with an M1 Firebird, they'd most likely die- and I can alert my teammates if it's a group. Wrong. Sure Blue team has a higher ascent, but you can shoot down the Shafts with Rails pretty easily. Just elimate one round of Snipers up there, then you'll have the upper-hand, because they'll have to move into position again, which will give you time to deal the first 120 damage with M0 Shaft- or if you've got an M1, then 150.- thus also with railgun. Here's one of my personal tips in Silence. Avoid the main battle front. True, everyone is there, right? Exactly. Your teammates can handle themselves. So sneak in while you can, and take the flag, or kill the Shafts. You're choice. ;D (Although I recommend at least distracting the Shafts if killing them is going to take awhile. Remember, you can't take all day. Enemies will respawn. If you have Freeze or Firebird, go directly behind them, and spray them. This will - especially if they're in scope mode, make their screen go bonkers. I'm talking about Red or blue flashes that hurt your eyes. This may kill them, or break their scope focus. They'd have to charge again while you can run to your own flag base. Or you can push them off if they have something such as Hornet and Wasp. ). Furthermore, Red team has the advantage I must say. Once you've got the flag, jump off the cliff <3. If you flip, get an ally to carry on the flag. If you don't, well then make a run for it. Even twins and Rico can hit the Shafts from the bottom. And don't always snipe from the western side of the map. Go onto the eastern side, and near the cargo boxes or under the ramp, you can snipe enemies from there. Great view of the whole platform, not to mention you can shoot runners who've got your flag. - You can always drug to gain the edge over the Shafts, but I only do that when some of my teammates are already drugging. I don't like to be the one starting a drug war, especially if my other teammates don't have any drugs. LOL

Agreed. There are the smart, Isidas, and there are the not so smart ones. :/ When I try to fire, then get back behind a wall, some Isida pushes me out, and the Thunder kills us both. Lol. And, you can kill the ones that just get in the way, like the ones who don't kill, but just wait for boxes to drop.The downside: When a teammate gets the flag, there's going to be war because the people on the same team are going to be fighting for the flag. Then the enemy swoops in and returns it. Other times, your teammates try to flip you. A shaft with Hornet flipped me once( ON MY TEAM) because he wanted the flag. I was like 3 meters away from our home flag. -.- Difficult battle too. So I refused to let go, and just went AFK. LOL. They had no choice but to push me off and auto-return enemy flag. :P

Yeah, that's a pretty good tactic. The majority of Railgunners use that. I do too, but you gotta be fast. Once I went too fast, shot the wall. -.- LolBut nevertheless, it all comes down to one factor. LAGG. Whoever laggs first loses. Lol, like a staring contest, you blink, you die.

Well, I just got a Daily Crystal today. Though true enough, took 1-2 months. Oh well, better then not getting one at all, right? It'll come I guess. Besides, look at the bright side, more drugs to defend against other druggers.

That was before the rebalance and all. Now it drops randomly, and anywhere. However, in such maps like Silence, of course it won't drop right next to enemy flag. That'd be unfair. It usually drops where the other crystals boxes drop- primarily in 2 locations, the western ramp, and the eastern side. It drops at any battle fund, and if it drops on a somewhere unaccessible, then that's just too bad. LOL. But sometimes you may be able to get it if you somehow parkour or something, or use Ricochet.

Oh ok. I was thinking about one of those Fans, but I guess a Cooling Pad seems to be much more effective and easier to use. Indeed, when dust builds up in a laptop's system, it gets in the way of the charges, thus it can lead to a slower computer, AND overheating, because it blocks the vents. I've heard about cleaning it of course, but they say you've got to open the laptop up and all. :/ Oh well. Thanks guys!

To kill a Railgun with Shaft, just pinpoint their stratedgy of where they're coming out. Works for me. <O>. Furthermore, most Rails use smaller hulls like Wasp or Hornet, seldom VIking and Mammoths. So it'll be an easy one shot.

I'm waiting until May 1st until I get my M1 Rail. No sales, I'll just buy Rail. If there is a sale of any kind, 10-25%, I'll get Twins for sure.

My Laptop overheats when I play about 10-30 minutes of Tanki Online. Anyone want to offer me some advice on how to prevent this? I think my maximum was an hour, though my Laptop was really cold, Lol. Every time I play Tanki, I usually forget which Server I'm on. Lol, maybe they can put on top of the website about which server you're currently playing on? Anyways, this brings me to my next question. How about being able to save your points, kills, and deaths on only ONE game. Therefore if you had to leave or something, you can come back and not lose any points! True, people take advantage of this and may want to play on more than one battle, thus abusing the crystal earning system. However, if you were to enter a different server or map, then the credits you've earned on the other game would be terminated. ( But then again, multiple accounts. :L) Oh, and anyone want to tell me what D/L stands for? Lol thanks.

Just make sure not to make the camera being able to see EVERYTHING. Ruins the art of surprise. :L

When the maps get crowded, people get more competitive on getting kills.

I went up againt an M2-M3 Mammoth with M3 Rail. Pretty good, especially since I had only Wasp M1, LOL. But he came like 4 minutes late into the battle, and it was in the map Massacre whence I can drive around out of his view behind hills and all to surprise him. :D I think I won by 1 Kill. LOL, If there was 4 minutes left, pretty sure he could've won. I think Railgun is the new fad and all. :P So if it were up to me, I'd probably take rail. Not sure if this goes for you too, but Smoky isn't my thing. :P I tried it on Polygon, I'm not entirely terrible at it, but you've got to time it right if you're competing with someone for a kill. Crits never seem to happen FOR me for some reason, but yet they do happen TO me. lol xD They say Ricochet was nerfed pretty badly. I guess it is true. I'm terrible at Rico also, not sure if it also happens to you, but I keep missing with it, due to high recoil. Conclusion: Smoky if you like to take a chance, shoot fast, or unbalance. Ricochet if you like to stay behind walls or maybe go basic and charge. But Railgun is pretty good to aim with, and does good damage.

Maybe they'll work on more maps after the Visible consumables and all. But I think that the invention of each map takes some sufficient time. Since it's 3D and all, furthermore, they seem to put in an important amount of effort for each part of any map! Each map is just full of fun hiding places and secrets that you can find, not to mention some parts are for different hulls. Take Gallery for example. You can't possibly get on those railroads in midair with Wasp.

Faster? No way. True, you can get shot down easy as soon as you respawn, but just hope for a teammate to kill or unbalance that Shaft or Rail- and you respawn in different places. You can always drug once on 2X armor, just to get away. Lol.

Shaft is still pretty good, on Small-Medium hulls. When it comes to a whole party of Mammoths- well that's another story. Maybe the Shaft can have this boost where if you have someone in the center of the scope for like 7-10 seconds, it can do extra damage when you shoot the tank. You can't do this with the faster tanks, but with the Slower tanks yes. If you were to be unbalanced or if the tank escapes the center of the scope - Not the whole scope, then you'd have to wait 10 seconds again. I'm not talking about fully reloading. Just an extra perk when shooting. That way it's not overpowered in which just fully charging and camping, but when you want to kill a bigger enemy, having to wait some time.

Wait, so do you mean like when they give you the 2x Crystal Buy card, it can work in-battles too? :/ If they were to do that, then they'd have to make the card extremely rare, Lol. And make it last for only like 15-45 minutes.

Maybe on Easter or May 1st. But I hope there will be sales on either Rail, Thunder, or Twins, even if it's just a 10%. :D

So if you lose everything but 1 HP, do you just have 1/4 of your hull and 2 wheels or something? xD no turret lol. Or just your Hull and turret, but no wheels. :P Final Stand? XDDD

Well, you can get Snipers to shoot them down as soon as they respawn. They may get annoyed/bored and leave. That'd what I do as Shaft. :P Aim for deadly opponents until they leave. :D Good thing Freezes usually use fast hulls. Unless there's another Shaft :L

It takes crystals to name change? o.o Oh and do you think I should upgrade Railgun right now, or wait until Easter to see if there are any sales? xD
