@Ryansolanki: You are going through the gist of what I went through when Re-balance came along. It completely screwed up my garage, so what did I do? Picked myself up and got used to it. Not silently of course, lol. But you'll just have to adjust to it, or get new items. Tanki's always giving out sales and hosting contests that are practically GIVING AWAY free crystals. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As for this update, GREAT JOB to Tanki Devs! :) One of the best, if not, THE BEST updates so far. Wasp -> Increased acceleration and turning? I've found it fine as it is, but I guess it's mainly because I've been using it for my whole Tanki Career. LOL. Most people can't use it really, so maybe this'll change their minds! Good job Devs. Hornet -> Slightly lowered maximum speed and armor? Thank you Devs. Hornet was basically the new Overpowered, Pre-rebalance Mammoth. No wonder everybody wanted a sale on it. And I agree with some others, the hype for this tank was darn annoying. Hornet DESERVED this nerf. I know, I sort of raged about how Mammoth was nerfed, but it was for the best, and I just went back to using Wasp, what I was good at. :) The nerf on Hornet did not make Hornet weak, it just made it balanced. The current unnerfed Hornet is just too strong. With that much speed, especially if MU'd. It was basically a Mammoth on like 10 Nitros at once. Lol. And add a paint? Too overpowered. It looks like now Hornet-users will have to either open up to new options, or actually put some skill into it. (Although I do acknowledge some Hornet users as skilled.) Hunter -> I like what you did to Hunter, you made it more well-rounded and balanced/comfortable, like how it was supposed to be. :) Viking -> Kind of funny how it's the Lightest now, I think it should be a bit heavier than Hunter. . . .but nonetheless, it now gives fair competition for other medium tanks. No longer will everyone choose Viking be the ''best'' medium tank. Dictator -> Ah yes, Wasp's larger cousin. Very underrated, hopefully what you guys did will make this hull more seen on the battlefield! Also looking at Hunter, hopefully more Hunters on the field soon. Titan -> Increased armor? But decreased acceleration? In my opinion giving it more armor was a mistake, maybe giving it some more speed, but more armor? Eh. . . still debatable. Mammoth -> I understand that ya'll want Mammoth to be a wall basically. However, you should've given MAMMOTH more armor, if it was going to be one. Firebird -> Hehe, I've got to admit, Firebird's burn was pretty OP. Great you got it lower, and in compensation for that, had given it more energy and less recharging time. EXCELLENT! :) Freeze -> Good. Isida -> In my opinion that just made the terrifying Isida even worse! Even stronger! And more energy!? Twins -> I believe the signals I'm getting is that you're trying to make Twin's shots very fast, and small damage for each shot, whereas currently it is moderate speed, moderate range, and still shots that do considerable damage alone. Alright, seems reasonable. Ricochet -> With Ricochet's super fast reload, this just made it even better. Ricochet will certainly gain power again. Good! :) Smoky -> So no more Critical-chains? Alright then. Still nice. Thunder -> I like it! Usually the Thunder is pretty bad in quality from far away, but now that's fixed! And in return to make it not Overpowered, less damage up close. Good good! Railgun -> FINALLY. Infinite enemies it can hit through, without losing power! I've been looking for an update like this! We can finally use Railgun like how it was meant to be, to snipe multiple opponents at once! Skewer them all! :D Shaft -> So shooting in non-snipe mode is boosted? Great! I think that'd make Shaft much more fun! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Summary: The most notable changes I'd like to thank Devs for are: 1. Nerf of Hornet. This was definitely needed. It was plain Overpowered. 2. Re-configuration of the medium tanks. We'll see more diverse medium tanks out there now! 3. Changes to Railgun, Smoky, Shaft, Thunder, Freeze, and Firebird. These changes, big or small, are all great in my opinion! It certainly helps balance, and will make the game better to play! Now, I'd like to say my share of the heavy tanks. I know TO is aiming for diversity within the tanks, right? Mammoth is the supposed wall, while Titan is the heavy tank that moves on the battlefield. So with that said, I think you should've given Titan higher acceleration, but kept armor at the same amount. Do not give it more armor, you should've done that to Mammoth. Mammoth is the unmoving wall, what this does it making Mammoth the wall, and Titan the moving wall. Titan is basically Mammoth, but with the ability to move. So picking Titan would be the no-brainer. I'm no longer steamed about Titan having more ''power'' stat than Mammoth, it's pure logic that Titan should have that. Either that or make Titan more expensive, and make M3 Mammoth available at a lower rank, not Generalissimo. I'm still suspicious about Isida's future. Even if it has lower recharge time, it is already very strong, (maybe even OP), right now. Especially with drugs on, things like that will almost never die! So the only thing I'm suspicious about is Mammoth/Titan's issue, and Isida's issue. Finally, I am not being biased anyway. I said Hornet needed the nerf, but I didn't say that just because I'm a Wasp-user. If you look at it, Hornet was simply way too good in stats, ridiculous. And add MU's, and a paint? You have to admit it, it's too strong. The hype that hull had, it was a no brainer why everyone wanted it, and wanted it to go on sale. It was OP, simple as that. Again, I'm not being biased. I really like this update because it ACTUALLY balanced everything.

It is on test server, sorry Bilal. The thing is, you're right, it is on Tanki Online's facebook page. However, the contest was how many mines you could place, right? Some people could not buy or did not have that many Mines on their real account, or if they did, they did not want to waste all of those real Mines. So instead, the person went on Test server to do it. TO still accepted those. :) The fact is, IT IS ON TEST SERVER. In addition to that, you contradicted yourself. On page 1, you said it was NOT on test server. Now, on this page you said you did not know if this was on test server or not. So in conclusion, you had no authority to determine whether or not this took place in test server in the first place. :) Furthermore, all you have to do is look at his crystal amount, his equipment. Fully-MU'ed eh? All those drugs? Really? Besides, someone posted in this thread that MU's did not exist back then when that photo was taken, further supporting the fact that it was in test server. (edit) The person in that photo did a nice job, but it was on test server, not real server.

 Oh ok now I feel stupid. Good job TT21King. . . ../facepalm I think this is what happens when I stay away from Tanki Online for so long. And thanks for the explanation with the copy n' paste. (Though I think I still need to clear my cache, battles are quite laggy for me since I've returned) Alright now I have to choose whether or not to MU my Isida M3. e.e
-
@TT21King: Uh, I think you need to go back and see how MU's were implemented and get your facts straight. Lol. If there is a sale, it will stack up with the discount you have on your MU'd item. Stack, as in add up.
-
@TT21King: No, I believe I was correct. The two discounts would add up, so it would be 50% + 15%, which would be 65%.
-
Well this is technically a sale. Remember, MU's will be half price on Friday, right? So MU a parameter fully if you're already close to upgrading it fully. Then you'll have, what, about 15% discounted for the next Modification? Then you can wait for the next sale. So lets just say for example, the next sale is 50% off of your MU'd weapon. When that day arrives, that weapon will actually have a sale of 65%, because you MU'd it. Get it? . . . . But it's a nice sale for people with M3's. . . . still debating whether or not to MU my Isida M3 immensely. . . .I mean, it's a pretty strong weapon. :D

How to kill in one shot a Wasp M3 with a Railgun M3 in a No Upgrade Battle?

That's where my awesome Digital paint comes into play. -
Might MU my Isida M3 like crazy. . .. seems very tempting. xD

We're talking about Shafts here right? Do keep in mind that when scoping, your hull is suspended from use. Lol. xD Again, we're talking about Shaft, right? The hull you use does not affect your turret rotation. . . Isidas who stick to buddies are not doing their job. Unless the ''buddy'' is an insane drugger, he's better off trying to heal his whole team. And about the capping, well good. It means you're skilled at maneuvering around Stadium map with your Hornet M2. Lol. And you do, trust me. When I'm behind a wall and scouting, it's pretty intense. Sometimes I press forward, then suddenly stop in fear of the enemy, and then I press forward again once I realize it's just a false alarm. Really the game is fine how it is, and fun. The little dash you're suggesting would mess that up. Now I'll repeat it again. I won't mind this idea IF it is the sole ability of one hull. Just like how Wasp has its speed, and how Viking has its stability, and how the future hover-hull would have its ability to land upright no matter how high it jumps from, the tank would have an ability that no other tank has, your idea, which is the little dash. And furthermore, please know what you're talking about. A spring is indeed a jump. spring spriNG/ verb verb: spring; 3rd person present: springs; past tense: sprang; gerund or present participle: springing; past participle: sprung 1. move or jump suddenly or rapidly upward or forward. "I sprang out of bed" synonyms: leap, jump, hop, bound, bounce, etc.

@above: You sure have a lot of things to learn for a 1st Lieutenant.

@Greenleaf: I was talking about the person using the Shaft. It actually does take skill at aiming. Also, even if you have the most skillful Shaft user there is, it is not a guaranteed point that absolutely nobody can get to the flag. Another tank can use their skills to bypass the Shaft-security system. And then again you have the Shaft's reload, which means that no matter how hard it tries, it can only eliminate a limited amount of opponents especially if they arrive in bulk. So in conclusion, your statement about how a skillful Shaft would never let anyone get their flag or cap their flag a complete exaggeration. Furthermore, sometimes it is good for a Shaft to aim at ''random'' opponents. It keeps the general population of the opposing team at bay, since nobody wants to get shot. And then you rely on teammates to plug in the nooks and crannies to make sure nobody can sneak in. That's a great defense right there, whereas the Shaft has done its job, which takes skill at aiming for tanks, since others have skills too and would try to feign/dodge the shots, so the Shaft has to be smart and time their shots right. Besides, you have to calculate the lesser vision a Shaft has, and the distance. The Shaft has to know where to look, and when to look, not to mention predict whether or not an opponent is worth going for. It is possible to miss with Shaft. ''Impossible to miss with Shaft,'' another exaggeration. True, they have the scope, but that doesn't guarantee a hit. Furthermore, it isn't guaranteed to kill. The Shaft scope, as you know, wobbles a bit, making especially ranged attacks sometimes difficult to achieve, especially when you're aiming at a smaller tank such as a Wasp or Hornet. Believe me, it does take skill to use an Isida effectively. If you know who to heal, how much to heal, and where to go, not to mention how to do your job, you will benefit your team drastically. Not to mention Isidas with light tanks must maneuver through the front lines to keep their allies healthy and battle-ready, while avoiding damage themselves, and timing when to attack, whether an enemy is ripe for the kill. The gameplay is only too slow if you don't notice what is around you and what you need to do. An experienced tank will know that the field is always dynamic, changing constantly, especially with the new update where you can change equipment. You must always be on your toes, observing, and planning out your next move. I assume you don't just go charging into battle mindlessly, unless that is some part of a mastermind plan? As for the maps, I just played a battle today and it seems just fine, really. If you really can't deal with it, I'll suggest for you to move on to bigger maps, such as Wolfenstein, or Deck-9. It's always good to try new things instead of replaying the old ones, where you'll get tired of them, no? Devs added all of those maps for a reason, so you won't get bored. So with that said, there is really no reason to add a perk such as how you get a little ''dash'' or ''speed boost.'' Besides, how exactly would that make gameplay more interesting? Would it make gameplay more funny, to see a Mammoth try to hop up and down? Unless it's the sole ability of a new tank, this idea really isn't needed. Furthermore, it would mess up gameplay in a way how if you accidentally double tapped forward, you'd unwillingly hop forward, expose yourself, and probably get shot. It would just introduce a whole barrage of problems, no matter how good you see it as of now.

I smell sale soon! :D P.S: Been gone for a while, nice avatar Semyon. Those glasses! B)
-
@Blackseac: I do that to enemy Shafts before I kill them. Lol. But thanks for pointing that out. I also do that to my teammate Shafts sometimes. I hate it when teammate Shafts get bored and shoot my Wasp to try and tip it over. Then they realize I'm M2 and that M2 Wasp is heavier. If they do that once and not again, then I'm okay with it. But if they keep doing it, I get annoyed. So I blind them with Firebird while they're scoping, jump on them, and block their way. :D
-
Your idea would be a much better fit on a racing game or whatnot. The problem is this game is a shooter-game. These are tanks, lol. Use your own skills on maneuvering instead of trying to rely on other perks. Wasn't the physics update supposed to differentiate tanks from one another because they were all the same? Adding this thing to every tank would bring some elements of that back. I would only approve of your idea if it was limited to ONE tank, meaning Tanki Online would have to make a whole new hull with this ability. That way, it'd bring about another option of gameplay. Understand what I'm saying? And for the skills part. The skill is there, it's just tough to notice when drugging is everywhere. Ever notice how slick people are with the light hulls, sneaking around undetected? Yep, that takes skill. See how accurate those snipers are? Yep, that's skill. See how good that Isida is at healing? Yep, that's skill. If you still can't see skill, may I suggest joining a Pro-battle?
-
So what you're asking for is a variant of a ''dash?'' Kind of like the other games, where you double-tap forward, and your tank jumps forward a bit, or in this case, gets a temporary speed spike. Remember, this is just my opinion: No, it would ruin gameplay. And that's putting it mildly.
-
Med. M2 for me. Those PAINTS!
-
Wish I was one rank higher. . .because then I COULD get M3 Freeze. . .but nope. I have M2 Freeze, M2 Firebird, and M3 Isida. . . .can't buy anything. But oh well.

Think before you buy. Will you use ALL of the guns in the turret kit? Do you have time to play that much? If not, then I'd recommend you not go for the turret kit, and focus on a smaller selection. Remember, turrets are not the only thing here in this game you should worry about, for your tank is also composed of a Hull and a Paint, and those cost a hefty amount of crystals too. At least, the good ones do. And you don't want to waste crystals buying a bunch of (nooby) paints that won't protect you much at all. Anyways, stick to around 2-3 turrets, and focus upgrading them first. Not MU'ing,, do not Micro-upgrade until you reach M2/M3. At M2, you may MU a little bit, especially if they're on sale. At M3. well feel free to MU to your heart's desire. Why? At M3, you've reached the M limit, so they cannot be washed away. At M2, if you upgrade it to M3, you will lose ALL of the MU's, understand? Same with M0 and M1, which is why MU's should only be done at higher M's. Well, choose which gun you like to play with most, as this is a game after all. No fun, no game, right? :) Since I don't know how you play, I don't know which gun to pick for you. Sorry about that. (edit) Also, I can't choose which gun you should buy because I'm not sure what Hull you use, or plan to use with each gun. Same goes with what paint you use or will use.

The kits change revolve around. In this case, the Light Tank M2 Kit was probably replaced by another Kit. It might return in the future, but as of now, it is gone. So remember, Kits get replaced every now and then, so always be on your toes. They'll usually announce it beforehand on Developers' News or something. . .

That is so funny. . wonder what Flae's Magic Shop has got to say about it. Haha.

I thought Valentines day passed already. . . -
Lots of Railguns I see nowadays are -no offense- stupid. . . . very easy to dodge, trick, and feign. . . What happened?! :( But moving on, use Wasp right and it'll be great. As for not being able to take hits. ..look at the speed. . with more hp, it'd be OP. :P The only way I get flipped is if either a Railgun BELOW me, shooting the bottom part of my tank towards the sides, and then I flip like a pancake. But Wasp should be able to take any shot. Unless it's like a Railgun MU'd in kinetic impact or something  But I think Wasp's worst enemy is most likely Thunder or Firebird. First of all, using Wasp right, you shouldn't be able to get shot at much. Dodge them for goodness sakes. With Wasp's awesome speed, maneuverability, size, AND a little bit of drifting that greatly helps, dodging is easy. ^_^ Especially when you run into an enemy at full speed, have good reflexes. Circle around them super fast while attacking (I use Firebird). And they won't be able to turn fast enough. However, Thunder can still damage you because of Splash, so even if it misses, you'll still take in damage. AND Thunder gun HURTS a lot if you don't have a Paint against it. As for Firebird. . .well you know why. :P

@above: No it ain't. home run nounBaseball noun: homerun 1. a fair hit that allows the batter to make a complete circuit of the bases without stopping and score a run.
