The Blue hole does have a big disadvantage though. Blue hole exposes you 24/7. Only good if you have something with no charge and good accuracy. (Smoky or Shaft)

Working in dual teams is fine. Keep building on teamwork strategies. You seem to be doing it well if you can capture a flag with Mammoth. . .. . However, you should not rely on it too much. Do not forget how to battle like a lone-wolf. :D For your partner might not be at your side 100% of the time. And when you take those lone-wolf skills and combine them with your partner's, good things can result. :ph34r:

Incidents like these do not need refunds. You chose what you bought. Nobody else made the choice for you. Learn how to use the weapons you bought, or learn how to save. I had the same problem like you, I bought Mammoth M2 and Railgun M2 and thought that combo was crap. Possibly because I was oblivious on how to use a heavy hull with a Railgun. I was used to using light hulls. However, with time and practice I mastered it and I do fairly well even when going against tanks higher than my rank. Learn how to use your hulls/turret. In my opinion it's sometimes best not to go mainstream with a Thunder/Viking or Mammoth/Twins. Find your own combo and use it your way. Dominate over main-stream nubs. Heck, even Ricochet without Physics update is good if you use it well- which takes a lot of practice. However, the Physics update would be a fair reason for a Refund because it's not just small changes. They're very big changes to the hull statistics and some weapon statistics. Now that I've tested it out, Mammoth sucks, Hornet is the best, and everything has gone haywire. Even if it's not a full refund, at least give us a Refund on the hulls. . ..

You should go for M2 Hornet already. But if you're looking for an M1: I heard Dictator was the best medium hull. . . And it goes well with your trio of weapons.

I think your friend should stick with Hornet. Stick with the set that you like and can use. Honestly I think after the new physics kicks in, Titan/Ricochet will be better than Smoky/Mammoth. But that's just my opinion. Don't just get something 'cause people say it's strong. I got Twins because of that, and I never use it. Waste of crystals.

Great for lower ranks who can still change branches. In branch I mean what they're going to buy and specialize in, meaning Light hulls, medium Hulls, Heavy hulls, Close-ranged guns, Ranged-guns, etc. Other ranks who don't buy crystals -> Screwed

Current test servers I think Viking is better. If you want to get Hunter, might as well get Hornet.

Not to mention pick up a few tricks- and to know the weaknesses and strongholds of each. Not saying the players can't do that, but it is in the Dev's job, so logically the Devs would pay more attention to these things. . . .Most players just go main-stream with something like Mammoth/Twins because it's supposedly easy to use. In a gist, Devs know there game very well. Do not under-estimate them. :lol: They just don't play on public servers much I'm guessing.
