Paints are better off in higher ranks like Wo5 or First lieutenant. Hornet is wonderful from your rank till second lieutenant. Rail gun m1 is good until First lieutenant, where rail gun m2 is unlocked. I say either is a good choice but overall, just get like hornet m1 and save for rail m1. Your paints will still do you some good, so no need to get any new ones.
