These items are special not just because of their looks, but also because of their improved parameters too! You can rent all or one of them for the duration of the holiday period! Hornet XT and Railgun XT have parameters equal to a standard Hornet and Railgun of respective modifications, micro-upgraded at 50%. The Frost paint boasts 20% protection against all turrets in the game, as well as mines. With Hornet XT and Railgun XT of M2 and M3 modifications, you can even take part in format battles! Since they are for rental only, XT tank and the Frost paint will stop being available in the game on 2am UTC on January 12, and will also be removed from the garages of those who have paid for these items. The garage prices for these three items will be decreasing with each day, starting from January 1. This means that you will be able to give this unique tank a test drive, even if you don’t have a huge reserve of crystals. Consider this an experiment. If we see that there is demand for custom looks and unique items, we will consider developing similar features in 2015. In the meantime, don’t miss the chance to play on an elite tank this festive season!

Tankers! With the release of update 302, the game is temporarily not displaying daily gift notifications. Please do not be concerned. You will still be receiving your daily gifts normally. The issue is simply with the popup notification. We are already working on fixing this issue. A fix is expected shortly. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

EN players are sent to EN servers, DE players to DE servers and so on. So Russian generalissimos will be sent to RU1-3, EN generalissimos to EN1-2.

Tankers! Now, when clicking PLAY on the homepage, you are automatically sent to the server that is best suited to your rank. This way, you will always be joining a server with as many battles for your rank as possible! If your rank’s server has reached its maximum capacity, you will be automatically redirected to the next best suited server. For those who are used to meeting their friends on a specific server, we have kept the ability to manually select a server inside the game. Tankers! Starting from today, tankers will be able to split the battle fund without waiting for the end of a battle where the outcome is obvious. This is how it works: if a battle is not PRO, and one team in it is accumulating score at least 10 times faster than its opponent, the standard battle timer gets replaced with a special one. Once the special timer has reached zero, the round will be over and the fund will be split earlier. If the losing team starts working together and accumulating the score faster, the normal timer returns and the battle proceeds as normal. Now, winners will not need to wait till the battle ends, if their opponents are inactive or have left. Losers can get their share of the battle fund faster and start playing a new round, or find a more suitable battle. More information on how the mechanism works can be found on our wiki. This will only work if losing team accumulates battle fund at least 10 times slower than the winning team. This usually happens when all the members of the losing team left and winners just wait for the round to finish, doing nothing. That's the thing this update will get rid of.

Our team has checked all the entries and the ones that won have got chosen not just me but by a jury of developers. Any number of winners doesn't mean there are many winners. It means the number can be anything, from 1 to 1000. This time, based on the level of entries, we picked 8 as the best. 9 in fact, but one entry was fake, so we had to remove it. Good entries of lower quality got consolation prizes. Thank you for your feedback on the difference in the number of winners. Of course partly it is explained by the fact that there were less entries and there were less good ones, but I got your point. We'll be judging differently in this contest.

Hello tankers! We’ve just added support for Format Battles to the game. You can create or join a Format Battle by using a PRO pass. To determine a battle’s format, choose one of the available format options in the PRO battle creation menu. The game currently supports 4 formats: Hornet and Railgun (XP), Wasp and Railgun (BP), Hornet or Wasp with Railgun (XP/BP), as well as Parkour. To join a Format Battle, you must use the required equipment combination. Any other combination will not be allowed. The game will notify you if you need to change your equipment for the battle. Detailed descriptions of all supported formats can be found on the Tanki Online wiki. Parkour mode is designed specifically to cater for parkourists. In this mode, supplies do not have any cooldowns and can be activated any time. Also, participants are not awarded any score or experience points, and the battle fund does not grow. Additionally, Format Battles are now marked with a special icon and common abbreviations in the battle list. It's the amount of crystals you buy including the package bonus (195.485 crystals) multiplied by 2 thanks to a double crystal card. Then the New Year bonus kicks in, equal to the sum purchased. So it's the second option, 195.485 * 3 = 586.455 crystals.
