To prove that we will have a future, all you have to do is think to yourself, that in the future where time machines exist, I would travel back in time and Say Hi to the Current Me. The future Me would have only done this due to me Thinking NOW currently that I would Travel back in Time to Say Hi. And if the future Me were to Travel back in time to This Current time. Would it Change the Possibilities of what I do from then? But since I have done trying That. Telling myself that if I am in the Future I would come back to this current time. It hasn't happened. Which means before time machines ever existed, I Died. Or maybe someone is Preventing Me from doing that in the Exact moment I had have thought that Particular thought. Or have i gone Mad?
