Holy_hero_alexxxxxx (eGuards): So, Well, from the first match I can say that with everything that was going on, Arcade pulled it together and put up a good fight. It was very worrisome, although we had the clear score advantage. The game was played till the last seconds, and the 4th flag in Forest, in essence, confirmed our score in the match. It is only because of the absence of training that these guys get 4th place. Honestly, notwithstanding everything that came before, I truly respect these guys. I truly doubt that there will be a team, in the near future, that will achieve all that Arcade has achieved since their appearance. The match versus A&D was a little more personal, as they were the ones who sent us into the Loser’s bracket, and that with a crushing score. Although everyone was saying that we can’t do anything anymore etc., we were still able to achieve what we wanted – in a fair game, where no one lagged out and there were no problems with the internet connection, we defeated them, even though the guys put up an incredible fight and were closer than ever to the grand finale. I believe that 3d place for them – is a worthy achievement. Naturally, the ambitions of the team were toward the ultimate prize, but to say that the guys failed the season – that would be impossible. In essence, our team is very excited and motivated for the final battle. It makes us happy that we will meet with our friends there – the guys from All In J. Nonetheless, however we end up playing tomorrow, I am already very proud to have been able to raise such a wonderful team. I am truly proud for all of my guys!

The thoughts of the players from each side RanzeR (eGuards):The matches were very intense. The beginning seemed hopeless; we didn't really “feel” our game. We were worried for a while, and were trying to recall how we should play. The battle continues, the intensity grows, and the understanding of the game becomes stronger, which gave us the advantage in the battle. We were then able to keep our concentration in both matches, and in the end – victory! ChoodOFirE (eGuards): Both matches were difficult, With Arcade it was long because of all the lags, here we barely start winning, the fighting attitude of the opponents drops, and boom – the match is postponed to the next day. Coincidentally, there was time to once again get our thoughts together and plan our tactics and with new-found strength move headlong into the battle. But Arcade clearly did not use this opportunity, and we got the victory. With A&D it was also difficult, but our morale was very high after having beaten Arcade. A wonderful, productive conference, and excellent coordination and communication gave its result. We’ve beaten A&D and are in the final, where we will meet All-In. Be there – it will be epic ;) Saint-Hov (Angels&Demons): First of all I want to thank everyone for their warm support. Thanks to the finalists for the amazing and equal game. To be honest I'm quite disappointed with our result. The things that didn't let us play like before were the feelings we had after losing to All In, but on the other hand this was a motivation for us as well. Also eGuards' game against Arcade had already warmed them up and as you know there were no teams we could play with before the game. I wouldn't say something was missing and if we did that we'd win, but maybe if I played from home I'd be able to help A&D with my gameplay. We're disappointed from our season result as we could play better and get to the superfinal. We couldn't put the final step in both of the last two games we played! The thoughts of the players from each side oskar111 (All In): The game today was very difficult and intense, for us, as well as for our opponents. A&D prepared rigorously for this match, as did we. I have to thank the whole team for this portion of adrenaline and positive emotions. Shootea (All In): Greetings! As for me, the game was more or less equal – during all of the 6 rounds, the control of the map was 'swinging' from one side to the other. It was then all decided on the extra round, which was to be expected from the results of the previous 4 rounds. We assumed that the opponents would give us a good fight, and fortunately for us, we were prepared! Saint-Hov (A&D): The game was tough and after thinking for some time we decided that I have to enter to help my team. In the last rounds EDO123456 started lagging at an important moment and we lost control over All In. Everyone panicked, especially me, because I was playing from a club in Moscow. All In wasn't playing too good and this kind of game was expected. Our way of playing almost made us win, but EDO's moment changed the outcome of the battle. Update : Hours later, the captain of eGuards got back to me with the following : Holy_Hero_alexxxxxx (Epic Guards): A truly great and dynamic game. I am happy that neither of teams experienced problems with their internet connection, and the battle was fought on equal ground. ALL IN, due to their heavy preparation, were able to win in this intense match, for which I congratulate them. Thank you! Could you add anything concerning your match? Are you ready for this opponent? I hope that we will be able to approach the game against Arcade in a worthy manner. I am confident that if everything will be in order with our internet connections then we will at least give it a good fight :)

	Arcade vs. eGuards

The thoughts of the players from each side UDJIK (Arcade): Everything was under control up until the last round. We lost because no one was controlling the side entrances of the Wasps, which as a result, led to the many captures. oskar111 (All In): The game did not go easily for us. Seeing as we faced the crowned opponents, it was important to not underestimate them, but eventually, the game came under the control of All In. We tried to show our best game on each map, and it’s truly wonderful that everything ended in our favour. We will try to show the same game in the remaining finals matches, and would like to thank Arcade. yes, same time.

did you see the last chats of the team at the very end? They all left when there was still half a min. They accepted defeat. No strategy there

I think from alex's response, it is quite clear that losing today was not at all their intention..

Extras : (update) Some 3 hours later, he got back to me with the following : Holy_Hero_alexxxxxx (Epic Guards): We lost fairly. This can easily be said, seeing as there was technically the same amount of players on the maps. In these small (relative to the entire game) moments, A&D were able to outplay us. Well, and of course, it is darn disappointing that we just didn't have time to fight back – we barely start playing well together when another one of our players lags out. In essence, as is often the case, in these kinds of finals, the internet connection is what really decides the outcome.

UDJIK (Arcade): In my opinion, it wasn't working out for eGuards from the very beginning. A flag was taken away very quickly, and it all went down from there, and it’s also possible that a bad internet connection had a negative influence on the team. The second map also began with unfortunate team play, and they were forced to play the rest of the round simply trying to catch up with their opponents. A_R_A_K_E_L_Y_A_N (Arcade): The way I see it, the score was unexpected, and everyone expected more from Epic Guards. We all thought that they would take care of their opponents easily, but alas, A&D were ready for a fight. But I figure that the lags also hindered the Epics from playing their game, which, probably, influenced the result. Holy_Hero_alexxxxxx (Epic Guards): We will keep fighting till the end anyway! First of all, kudos to the tanki developers and administrators for constantly improving the game and making more exctiting for us. That being said, I'm not sure that some of these recent changes are making the game more exciting. The point of critical shot is just that: the suspense, you don't know when, or if, critical damage would hit in and that made playing with as well as against, funny. Now, however, with crit. being almost insignificant, Smokey, I believe, is not worth the crystals it used to be. Interestingly enough, the price hasn't changed either. The hit points have increased, but that is still not enough for smokey to get through a 1v1-trapped-in-the-corner standoff. On another note, smokey used to be a lethal weapon that, when used right, becomes op. Not everyone could just sit in a DM and pick people off. Now, honestly, im not sure anyone can. Smokey is now a distilled version of ricochet with half the impact force (and graphic awesomeness). That's not to say that the update is in itself terrible. I am very satisfied with the freeze update: both the increaed hit damage, as well as the freezing mechanics. I think it wil improve gameplay for both the freezer and freezed. The same cannot be said for smokey, as I hope I have just made clear. Once again, thank you for all your hard work. Obviously that doesn't mean I will stop playing the game, it just means that I might not be buying the long awaited m3 smokey at the next sale (God-willing-fingers-crossed). Shal.

Yay! Loving this already. Funny thing is, as amazing as the English language may be, ours is also the language with the most grammatical inconsistencies.
