I'm not sure about how powerful a protection against firebird can be , but with thunder , shooting an enemy with protection above 40% is just a big waste of time , you'll never get them killed.

the difference is , with firebird you need to get the alteration , with hammer you don't also unlike hammer ,there's too much protection against firebird so that's a drawback for prometheus I prefer Hunter over Viking though
