(I will compare Dictator to Viking since they're both very common) I use dictator , it may seem like a big slow target but it's not, with dictator , you can hit targets so much higher or lower than you without having to climb up or fall down , other hulls (like Viking) don't have that luxury , or they might have it but it's just not as good and useful as Dictator . there's also a bonus of being able to catch golds rather easily , but after the 10 seconds update you will most likely not even be able to find the gold (however if I find a gold It's usually mine) note that with dictator you won't have to walk around teammates in order to shoot enemies , as you can shoot from above them , it bugs me how when I play with thunder and Viking , I end up shooting myself because of teammates standing in front of me , I never suffered from that with dictator I used to hate dictator too , I used to have the same thoughts as any tanker "it's a stupid big hull that can't survive and do anything good" , the moment I started using it , that hatred instantly turned into love and now I have it MUed to M3 which is something I will not regret keep in mind that dictator is the worst possible option for playing DM ^_^ everyone will target you , not much of a problem for team modes though

I honestly don't know what to say , I have thunder M3 now (M2 10/10) , in my range of ranks I can VERY easily climb to the top , but when i play with high ranks I struggle , I sometimes manage to claim the first spot , but in other times it gets incredibly hard to get a kill , and because of the massive amount of protection against thunder , my shot only deals 400 damage even with DD activated (50% protection +50% DA) and it's too low . please keep that in mind so that you don't regret it after you buy it. best of luck mate. EDIT : in spite of that I still love thunder and I intend to get it to M4 as soon as I can.

I do the same , but isn't it a bit too early ? however , the one with firebird and hunter is quite good they also say that raiden is useful , but i don't see how (SO many protections against thunder in high ranks) paladin is good but it has Viking so nope

yep , i do that because if i get close i will get bumped away by the impact force . but hornet is a lot faster than dictator.

probably , I don't like light hulls , especially wasp because they flip a lot , maybe if I tried them my opinion of them would be different many people choose speed over HP (light hulls over heavy ones), that's why thunder users thrive in all maps, all light hulls who don't have protection can be killed with 1 shot (when using DD), and if they're stacked together , each shot can give you 30-40 points , that's just massive isn't it ?
