It is logical for there to be paints to protect from it (just like every other turret in the game) so Tanki's 'solution' is not one at all. Hammer still has insane knockback which is the only real issue the gun still has from what a huge chunk of people say about it.

Thunder: Splash damage. 70-90 damage every 2 seconds Hammer: 115 damage every 1.6 seconds x 3 Not a very similar shooting pattern Hammer users basically ram everyone to get the most out of their gun. Virtually nothing required to do that, If you were to do the same thing with Thunder, you would end up killing yourself. You must stay out of your splash radius to remain unharmed. You need to have skill to do so. I wouldn't say Hammer and Thunder are that close, as you could list several more unique characteristics of Thunder.Not to mention it being the one with more skill to use and a better all-around turret :P

Thunder has an impressive impact force. Only gun that can flip a sideways Wasp to it's other side(using the owner's turret)
