The number of players also determines it, because that is how much the fund is split in. The actual length of the game does not really determine it, depends on how many are there and how much they bring up the fund. So I guess with longer time, in most cases the fund is higher.

I also like the gold idea, having it drop instantly. This working for the same purpose as removing crystal boxes; getting rid of distractions from the actual battle. I love this, Tanki!

Great. I think this will be much better for a few reasons. Tankers will now focus more on the battle than on the crystal boxes. Eliminating the problem of having those that just join for them and simply getting distracted for one. Therefore, the fund will go higher and besides the crystals from the boxes going into the fund, there will be even more in the fund. Great choice!

It should be double funds, it is like turning off crystal boxes in a pro battle.

They are right, I went on today (without x2 funds) and the aroma of the battle field is just so different. The only thing people care about now is crystal boxes. Sure, there is still some shooting. But for many, this is just to get rid of people trying to get a box to get it yourself. It is just ridiculous. Do I like the Idea? Maybe I will with some tweaking. But if there is any way of not changing how the battlefield was before, it would actually be good. The thing of making this a good update is not changing the focus of tankers, and the tactics, the purpose. I think if you get rid of predictible drops all at once, so be it. This way letting the crystal box increase still going. Otherwise, returning the crystal system to default and keeping the predictable drops. But right now, it does not feel like Tanki anymore.

Lets go back to how it was before. 10 crystals is a nice amount once accumulated. But usually in my case and in most others, you do not have a bunch of players shoving each other for them. If you get one, it is just a casual thing. You know, you shoot someone, a box falls by you, get it on your way somewhere else. Crystal boxes were not nearly interfering with the actual battle (exception for gold) at all. As you can see, many people on this thread have talked about the shoving, and no one even caring about the battle anymore but simply the crystals. Honestly, I think this update was meant for good, but at the moment it is terrible. It makes things more technical. Not even talking about the amount of crystals in the boxes anymore, but the predictible drops. Now it is not a casual thing, now you see where everything will drop instead of cruising by and casually something dropping. Therefore, many will now keep watch of the signs on the ground for things. Instead of keeping watch of who is taking your flag, or how your pals that actually care about how the game goes are doing. That is just my opinion, disregarding the fact that I mostly play pro battles with drops off so this probably will not affect me much. Just thought I would get my thoughts out.

All the negative comments make sense. Anyway, this update will gladly not affect me much. I will simply have drops off in my battles.

I have both hunter and hornet. Although I only have thunder m1, they both suit hornet well. But hunter over hornet IMO. :)

Percaution is being taken in many countries such as the United States and South Korea. Some have even thought of banning flying from Ebola infected countries to other countries. Yes, I know Ebola is very deadly and all, but some seem to exagerate a bit. First of all, have people been cured when they had Ebola? Of course! Maybe in more than half of the cases the patient dies, but theres a big chance of curing to take place. So first you get some small symptoms such as the flu. Up to some serious ones like internal bleeding. I heard that in some cases, you can cure those small symptoms and that way your immune system can fight off the virus better. However this cannot always cure it, so hopefully an actual cure (if not solidly made yet) can be made soon. You have to remember though, some ways you can contract Ebola by the mouth and especially blood. So think Africa, is it the most sanitary place? Not really. Also, people cram in vehicles and all those things. So as in that example, many people in a vehicle, they are squeezed together and if someone has cuts, ouch. So it is not that easy to contract Ebola but in these conditions it is very easy, hence the rapid spread. Somethings I heard from CNN, Up Front, etc.

Unfortunately, Smoky m2 is not until colonel. Is it still reccomended I save and wait for it? Even if at new years sale i'll probably be a LT. Colonel, and therefore will have to wait for another sale? So, firstly, this would mean I would not get much besides maybe some sort of pass or something cheap at new years. Otherwise I could get Firebird m2 at that sale, if we have one. Continuing with the Smoky path, depending how far the next sale is, I would probably have over enough crystals for a good sale on it, so it could be a head start on m3s. This leads onto another alternative, I just drop everything and save for m3s, even if they are a long way away. I'm open to ideas. It's just to think ahead, because my decisions may change with time. Anytime! Well, not specifically upgrading thunder to m2. I said that you should get m1 if you want, and since you have a good amount of crystals you should start going for m2s generally. Of course you could end up loving thunder and going for it m2 soon buf i'm not reccomending it.

Hm, seems to me you have plenty of m1s, and your rank is entering the m2s zone. However you do have plenty of crystals as well. If you wish to give thunder a try, for perhaps upgrading to m2 later on, go ahead. Either way, you have a great amount for a head start on m2s. Start thinking ahead for the next sales, and what you are planning to get.

I got both of those at one point, although my rico is now m2, I did use both m1 many times. Honestly, I enjoyed rico much more. Twins was very repetitive, therefore being annoying to others, and also being fun. But I liked the strategy of rico more, the way you can bounce the projectiles, and shoot farther distances. Maps wise, small maps are better for twins, in most cases, because of the range. While I reccomend rico for bigger maps. But each can be effective in most maps. Good luck choosing!
