Aaaand it's nerfed again  Seriously, now they pretty much forbid you from firing during overheat. Unless you really think a 70% damage reduction is worth keep firing while you take self-damage + enemy's damage. "Oh, but you can now start shooting half a second quicker"... yeah, except you also nerfed that parameter in a previous patch already, and not by just half a second. At this point they should remove the self-damage part of the turret. We don't need it anymore, 'cause no one's gonna expose itself to damage to deal no damage. And to think that they keep nerfing this turret even after nerfing Isida, which happened mostly due to its teamming with Vulcans.

I think rather than seeing the laser, enemies should only see the reticle when they're being locked on instead. That way the target knows it's being locked by a Striker, but it won't know where it's coming from.
-
It happens even when I'm not moving
-
Is there any issue with Striker's vertical aim? The amont of times this thing fires upwards in single-shot is ridiculous. I use the laser to aim at a target before shooting, and the missile just flies over their heads. I use Mammoth with it, so it can't be the gun's recoil.
-
They said they weakened the gyro effect, but they effectively removed it. It's still there just so they wouldn't need to change the turret's description in the Garage. You can't even rotate your hull while keeping a window on-target, now imagine if you and/or the target are moving. It is possible to move the turret by turning your hull, even with Mammoth, something that only happened when you used a light hull. That's how nerfed the gyro is. As for the "buff" to the minimum damage... well, yeah, they pretty much had to do that, because a single shot is now enough to take you off aim and make you waste a ton a shots (and overheat time) on far away targets.
-
Start with Titan, then switch to Mammoth. Titan is faster and has pretty much the same HP as the Mammoth for some stupid reason (a 4 HP difference), except at M3 in which Mammoth gets better.
-
Yes, up to 75% less damage at Maximum Range.
-
You missed "kill that Vulcan!!!"... :P
-
If I knew it was coming, I would have upgraded the cheapest parameters of all my equipment. At least I got free M2 Vulcan... :P
-
Changes to micro-upgrades: "if you had upgraded a parameter in your turret, all the other parameters will be upgraded to that level" My Vulcan is M1 and I never upgraded damage. But it has the full strength of a basic M2 now, because I have fully-upgraded the Impact Force before the update! :D
-
When it comes to "big impacts in the economy", Most likely not = Certainly not. <_<
-
That's because you have the Rank to purchase M2 already, so you don't need to buy M1.
-
I understood what you said. And what I'm saying is that it is impossible for a Vulcan to destroy a full health Mammoth in 1 second, even with Damage Supply. Vulcan M3 does 52 Dmg/sec. Even against a Mammoth M0, it would take about 3 seconds to destroy. Against a Mammoth M3, It would take between 7 and 8 seconds to destroy at full health.
-
Umm... even with Double Power, that's impossible... -_-
-
I miss the Test Boxes... :(
-
They don't need to. Just giving the Range back would make all Vulcaners happy (most of them). A turret that loses 75% of its power at long distances and is most effective at Mid-Range cannot be considered a Long-Range turret.
-
Name me a turret that is not OP in the hands of a drugger.
-
Yeah, actually I was expecting at least some mention about Isidas, some tips about overheating management, or even about the delay of the barrels (at least he said "get used to it"... not bad), but he mostly talked about parkour, which is secondary on Tanki.
-
Vulcan Noob Pro Tips: 1- Use a Heavy hull with Firebird protection to counter overheating; 2- Vulcan is good, try it. Bye! Really? You don't need to be an expert to know the basics of a turret.
-
3. Increase Range, so that it becomes an actual long range turret it was supposed to be.
-
DEVs: Vulcan has become a favorite amoung many players. Me: A turret almost non-existant might be really popular, no doubt. They should be updating the stats of the turret, especially range. Not just giving a new look which, by the way, is almost the same as the previous one.
-
Why don't they nerf Rail then? It's the most popular turret by far.
-
They say they looked at the players' feedback, but clearly haven't looked at the feedback about Vulcan's range, which is the main issue. Seriously, I didn't see anyone complaining about the barrels, but in some way they managed to find that...
-
Did you read the Feedback about Vulcan not being a Long Range gun as it was initially intended to be? Because it seems that didn't become very clear for some reason. I haven't seen anybody complaining about the barrels. <_<
-
Well, I'm expecting to get 0 points in the 5th question, but still get scored by the other ones I answered. Otherwise... <_<
