All of them are great at M2 - just pick the one you're most skilled with.

New turrets/hulls are planned to be released in 2014.

I just bought Hunter/Thunder M2, and though I have Electra, I think it's about time I got another paint to go with my new combo. Is Sandstone worth it (since it has moderate protection against Thunder, Rail, and Shaft) or should I get Cedar for half the price (which has high protection against Thunder)? I'm not really short of crystals, and I have all the M2s I want, so I think I could get away with spending a bit more now and then saving for M3s as I rank further. Thanks in advance!

And it still is today, right? Relax guys, I'm sure we'll get the gift soon.

I'm pretty sure lok knows that fact. He was actually answering the following question in his post: So rather than telling this information to skit, he was helping out another forum member.

I was looking forward to this, and you didn't dissapoint. Has to be one of my favourite newspaper series, it's got a great plot - can't wait for the next in the series. -

Even better than the last one in the series, IMO. Really, really involving - awesome stuff! -
Guide [Issue 19] Analysis - What should I Micro-Upgrade?

Well, I wasn't faulting the integrity of this article - it was still an excellent read regardless, and definitely provided some useful info! I was just sharing a personal opinion is all :P -
Well that would make sense, then.

Well summarised; the tests performed on the weapons in the videos are especially useful. Good stuff :P -
Story [Issue 19] A Retired Tankman's Life

This has a very nice plot, and is a satisfying read, ending on a high note. I like the way in which you've chipped in some humour; it's the sort of story which makes you smile after reading it (I can see what Fjelstad means by not being able to find words of description, but this is definitely indescribable in a good way). However, a small criticism; you do seem to have a bit of an issue with your tenses, fluctuating between the past and present quite a bit (most notably at the start). Fortunately, this improves as the article progresses, and it doesn't hinder the reader too much. I recall this particular problem being more significant with previous stories of yours, so it looks like you're well on your way in terms solving this problem ^_^ The best solution would probably be to have your stories proofread by someone else, who might be able to pick up on such flaws that you might have otherwise missed. -
Guide [Issue 19] Analysis - What should I Micro-Upgrade?

Very useful article, and I'm glad to see it's pretty detailed. Though you didn't seem to consider reload speed with Railgun? To me personally, that'd be the stand-out factor for that weapon; there've been many occasions where I've been destroyed just as my weapon was charging up. Though I can see why rotation speed would be useful, I would think it should only be MUed if you're an aggressive Rail player (i.e. someone who'll need to hit space whilst turning to face an enemy a lot). Even then, it might actually end up being worse - if you've got used to your current rotation speed whilst timing shots, you might end up over-shooting an enemy! In any case, the more aggressive Rail player will often use a light hull (and so turn both hull and turret simultaneuously when firing), so I don't think this is a parameter which really needs to be messed with. -
Review [Issue 19] What makes Tanki so replayable?

A satisfying read, and a well-written article. I would say the Community is the strongest factor for me (and many others here), but the Content and Goals certainly succeed in keeping players sufficiently entertained whether they have discovered the Community or not. -
Awesome idea; I'll make sure to regularly read this series. Loving the username, Lham

Hmm, it was pretty difficult this time round - I guess that's why the prize is 20k.

Story [Issue 19] The Tech Adjudicator: Chapter 1

A really great read - it involves the reader very effectively with an excellent opening, and I love the way you've used the protagonists thoughts in order to provide a pretty original setting for the story. I'm intrigued to find out what happens next. I was anticipating an article of yours this issue, and you definitely didn't disappoint. Awesome stuff. -
Review [Issue 19] Behind the Breaking News: December

A really, really awesome article. I like the conversational style of the writing, and the last bit was both original and pretty hilarious. Excellently done; you certainly did the concept of such a series justice. I look forward to the next in the series ;) I've not read any other articles yet, but I imagine this would be a very strong contender for the unofficial title of 'best article this issue' :P -
Finally! Looking forward to reading through this issue. Still looks pretty awesome like usual, though ^_^
-
Sure :P Mhmm, Hornet's a great hull, but it's way too mainstream. That's why I'm getting Hunter M2 at the sale.

I don't know; I don't have enough fingers to count with :(
