Ping is measure of latency (lag) from your computer to the server and back to your computer. Ping also depends on the distance between the server host and player, More the distance more the ping. The lower the ping, the less lag u experience. The higher the ping, u will experience alot of lag or the game may disconnect u from the server. Example I live in Australia, the ping i usual get are 120 - 200. Due the the data/info been transfer back and forth to the main servers in Russia from a far distance
