Changes in maximum range for Freeze, Firebird and Isida
ariking777 replied to semyonkirov in News Archive
That's the 3rd rebalance within the same month. I think it can be called a FAIL. -
Here's the answer. They won't. Tanki Help barely gives Crystals to players that go through Golds (due to this stupid glitch everyone knows), so they won't give Crystals back in this case. Sadly, I think that they'll be right not to give Crystals in this case.
-
If you get a mission that gives an XT, will it remain in progress no matter how much time you need? I mean, if it takes me a YEAR to finish an XT mission, it'll still be valid?
-
You can't ask for your Crystals back in such a case. Crystals are given only because of a bug/glitch that Tanki directly caused. If you clicked a button without understanding what it does or if you just clicked it by mistake - it's your mistake, not Tanki's, and therefore you won't get the Crystals. That's the case, sorry

Took a Gold in Year 2042 (first one in that map if I'm not mistaken), and missed 4-5 more because of the stupid Anti Cheat System  I'm not sure about it, but I think that I was the only one to touch it - all the others just tried to push me but actually made me stay in place :D
-
^ I will never get used to this nickname :D For me you'll always stay Pauleta with the Gold GIFs :P
-
It's Serpuhov. Like, ser-poo-khov. The kh represents an X in Russian, similar to a G in Dutch, a CH in German, and a ح or خ in Arabic (actually, not ح and not خ. Something between them).
-
None of them is better. It depends upon the type of battles you play the most. If you play lots of battles in small maps like Island, Ping Pong, and such, I'd suggest you buy Firebird M2. You should buy Firebird M2 also if you like defending your flag on medium maps, but you're not one of those fatties that sit on the flag but one of those that go chase enemies that take the flag after they'd already taken it (if you ARE one of those that sit on their flag - read what I wrote below). If you play mainly Polygon CP's or you play CTF battles in midrange maps (e.g. Silence, Serpuhov, Rio), and you stay in your base to defend your flag, I'd suggest you buy Twins M2, preferably alongside with a heavy hull (Mammoth/Titan).
-
What? I explicitly said that the list is descending - the more you go down, the slower the hull is. Hence, I think it would be logically correct to assume that I meant Hunter is faster than Viking if a I put it above Viking on the list. Look again. EDIT: Why are you necroposting? This is a topic last replied to on May 18th, almost 2 months ago. Is that supposed to be an attempt for the Top 20 Posters of the Day?? ANOTHER EDIT (using the opportunity :)): There was another rebalance about a week ago. Are you sure? :P
-
Of course Redneck is offensive in one of its meanings, but you can basically take any word and find some racist face it has... Why won't you say that the paint "Black" has a racist name and has to get a different name? C'mon guys, stop being offended for purpose...

He didn't go to the ramp at all :D Like a noob he just stood on it and didn't even make a glance towards the ramp :D
-
FINALLY! After ten days.. The Viking & Rail above me actually went through the Gold, but it always happens in Rio if you touch the Gold when it's too high relatively to the ground.. EDIT: It really surprised me when I found the drop zone that this Viking & Rail BELOW me (you can barely see him) just stood on it instead of taking position at the bottom of the ramp nearby - that what I did after pushing someone off its edge :)

A lot of things :D Fender Stratocaster American Vintage '62 Reissue (Electric Guitar): Marshall Silver Jubilee 2205 (Amplifier for electric guitar): Boss SG-1 Slow Gear, Line 6 FM-4 Filter Modeler, Boss DS-1X (effects for electric guitar): Yes, I AM a geek of Electric Guitars :D
-
(About the first line - I'm actually more with Calculus, so could be I screwed something there :D) You can't be sure of something when you have 99% certainty. So even if you show that with 99% percent certainty, you cannot confront Semyon Kirov with this stuff since he can say that this 1 percent is all that matters...
-
Worse things happened to me - for example, in a Desert DM, where for no reason when I stood near the Drop Zone some noob Viking & Twins just shot me and didn't leave so I wasted the repair kit that I needed when I almost died above everyone, a milimeter from the Gold...

This experiment still wouldn't be valid even when considering what you said - you yourself mentioned (quote) "...than there is a significant chance, given that we have large amounts of data, that the 1/7000 rate is wrong". The fact that there is a chance the 1/7000 rate is wrong doesn't mean that it is. For all you know, if you collect 20000 screenshots of battles with over 7k Fund and no Gold, the next 100000 screenshots would show battles with over 7k Fund and exactly 1 Gold. If you want to be sure that the chances are NOT 1/7000 by collecting masses of screenshots, you won't be able to be sure your result is valid unless you collect INFINITY of screenshots. If you really wanna be fancy all of those who aren't math geeks like me and don't want their brain to malfunction - DON'T OPEN THE SPOILER BELOW!)
-
You're using Mouse Controls?!
-
I've already explained :D I'm sorry to say it, but this "experiment" surely won't work. If the chances are 1/7000 (for the example; it could be any other chance), it does not mean that a Gold will have been dropped at least once when the fund reaches 7000. It means that the more times you play battles till their fund is 7k, the more percents out of the those times will include a Gold dropped. In other words, the more times you reach 7k Fund in any battles, the more the chances are gonna get closer and closer to 1/7000. Let's give a simple example to show you what I mean: The chances of a fair coin to drop on each side are 1/2. Right? The chances of a coin to drop on each side are 1/2, but it doesn't mean that if you'll throw the coin let's say 10 times, for sure it will be 5 times dropped on one side and 5 times on the other side. The fact that chances are what they are means that the more times you get to test the implementation of the chances, the closer the chances will be to their real value. Eventually, the more times you'll throw the coin, the closer the amount of times that it dropped in each side will be closer to a half of the total. For instance, if you throw a coin 5000 times, the amount of times that the coin dropped on each side will be closer to a half of the times than it is when you throw it 10 times. Hence, this experiment is invalid :)

Sadly, no Golds today (saw 1 and missed it due to a lagger stealing it, in Rio), but I do have a few stupid screenshots from my Alt, from today :D ^ Decent D/L... ^ Better D/L, that I was prevented from increasing due to a saboteur pushing me and forcing me to Self-Destruct and of course that battle that came to end... ^ And a rankup (scammer in the chat :D)
-
Well, I didn't understand your point, but I'm not an Apple expert so you may be right :) I like being picky :P
-
Logical failure :D The fact that Tanki did actually announce one change in the Gold Box doesn't mean it will announce all changes in Gold Boxes.
-
What's "Apple OS" supposed to be? It's iOS.
-
I didn't even bother to vote - this poll is misleading by its own self. How can you compare Windows, an operating system, with Apple, a company?
