In addition to what Mia said. The record is a limited one, which means it reaches a point where it can no longer be beaten thus rendering it useless as you have reached the end.

Try FireFox, it's the best browser to play Tanki.

It's called lag. There are two kinds of lag, FPS lag which means you need a better computer, or PING lag which means you have bad internet connection, but you can see this topic that might help with PING lag. And have a look at this one too: High PING. If you have FPS lag (low FPS), check this: Tanki crashes all the time! What do I do? How do I raise my FPS? If that doesn't work, it means you need a better computer.
