Rail is a dynamic turret which is a nightmare in the hands of a skilled and patient opponent, but who can deny the TO team all their work in creating a zoom graphic which magnifies your view to allow you to pick and choose both your opponent and their vulnerable points. Off the top of my head I can name Feodosia, Mitch, Kungfutank and yes even Happyending4u as great shafts. With rail I struggle a little, but t34tramp and froch are great. This is a debate I am inwardly having. what decides it for me is that as awesome as both weapons are, there are more paint defences for rail than for shaft. At higher ends a shaft would have to run from a picasso or,though rare, a jade attacker. Every other hornet is a mere toothpick. Rail on the other hand has a one shot kill on an M3+ hornet only after it has sustained some damage. Rail has to contend with nearly 50% defence in prodigi, digital and clay.

I think these rolling kits are a good idea. Rolling changes will hopefully mean all the turrets and hulls are on offer at one point or another

What is a metre in TO? I know smoky min damage range is 60m but I have no reference to the scale. How long are the tanks? How long is a map like say serpuhov from end to end?

Did JK rowling decide "wait these reapers are too powerful, let's make wizards faster and their wands have longer range" Once you start a theme you have to stick with it .... This indecisiveness is killing me

random rebalances make me mad

It's sad to say, but as my hornet and isida have both been nerfed, the forum is more interesting than tankionline. Should I sue for a total refund or should I just be grateful that I am no longer hooked? I don't know whether to be a disappointed junky or happy to be free to do better things with my internet.

Yes the isida benefits were balanced by the limitation of short range and slow recharge. I am now prey to freeze even within isida range, I cannot heal my teammates and my self heal has disappeared. The forum has become more fun than an isida hornet m3 combo... Fewer isidas will have a negative impact on everybody's game. Mark my words

When children draw a picture, you take it away from them when it is good so they cannot ruin it. Tanki Devs might learn from this principle. On the whole tankionline is still an interesting playing environment, if a little childish in comparison to WOT. The trouble is that I have just paid a lot of money for 350,000 crystals, perhaps more than I paid for a professionally finished playstation game. This constant rebalancing is not fixing glitches, it is reducing advantages that have taken months to earn and enjoy. Now my isida hornet m3 combo is useless and I am being killed by previously weaker opponents. I cannot recommend this game to people who would pay for crystals, because in my experience I paid for peaches and they are turning into bananas.

My hornet M3 was such a disappointment because rail killed me in 1 hit. After 60,000 crystals in upgrades on hp I am back at the top of the team.

Update for prospective hornet buyers M3 hornet is initially worthless because railgunners can blat you in one shot. After many MUs, hull comes up to about 190hp before an upgrade costs 8000crys The devs had to leave MU to serve a purpose And it is SO MUCH fun using hornet again So I now say buy buy buy hornet M3

OK, so Hornet M3 is growing on me. I am being less parsimonious with my crystals and buying MU. I now have 180 hp and can survive a hit from most m3 rails As for rail, I still believe it is a dud at m2 m3 is a different question but I can't see myself getting enough crystals to buy it ever I see m3 hornet m3 smoky as my ultimate combo Oh and in answer to your point on gizmos being shown up, I will remind you that there are noobs at every level. Some people are just not too switched on, or maybe they play one handed whilst falling asleep in front of the TV and receiving treatment for leprosy. Yea those gizmos would struggle against m1 rail...

Yes ! The sales are so strangely worded. They said something like 25% off any turret and 50% if you have multiplier pass. I thought that meant I would get 50% because I had a pass but that was a fail too.
