I really liked this update With the 100 crystal boxes drops everybody (or at least half the team) would loose sight of the objective to go after them, in several ocasions I lost flags, control points and games becaus my team members would rather go after a 100 crystal box than playing the actual game. No more noobs only catching crystal boxes too, specially in double battle fund days. The gold box drop with 20 seconds is more than enough, there isn't a single map where you can't reach a possible gold box drop sit in 20 seconds. The only thing I'd like to see was the gold box drop be completely random, not linked to the other drop sites, so the gold box could drop leterally anywhere, thet would be fun, to drive around like crazy looking for it :D The predictable drop sites gives the game a sense of strategy, where you can now activate a power up, knoing that if you go a certain way it's probable you'll get a different one and reach the enemy base fully loaded. The same ya it makes escape routes in CTF mode more appealing than other, becase of the probabillity of finding a heal ou double speed power up... oh, and for the so called "poll of the day" LOL (1) Do you like tankionline now more? : YES (all the noobs and crystal hunters are gone now, so everyone plays to win) (2) Do you tell your friends about it? : YES (of course, free crystals) :D (3) Do you play this game more than one hour a week after this update? : (HELL) YES (need to rankup to get my hornet M3) :D (4) Do you think that developers listen to comments : YES (if they didn't the game wouldn't change, don't you think?) (5) Do you think that low ranked players having fun playing this game after this update : YES (they are all at the same level...) (6) Is this a good publicity for russian game developers? : YES (they just won an award, what does that tell you?) (7) Will this russian tankionline only be played by noob false playing gamers: NO (check out the top clans and see where they play...) See you on the battlefield ;)

This update is really good, no more players just going after the crystal boxes and screwing teamplay. This benefits team playing and rewards those who really play the game, not just the crystal diggers. What I'd like to see was the Gold Box drop point be completly random, meaning except for building's roofs and other unreachable places, the Gold Box could drop anywhere, that would be really cool, seeing everybody just running like carzy trying to find it :D and it would be all about luck, even a Recruit could steal a Gold Box on a Generalissimo battle...

yes I know, I was refering to my own splash damage in case I use Thunder myself (I use M3)...

Hi guys. I've been having a problem, whenever I try to rotate the hull and the turret at the same time the game freezes and my tank just stops, dead in the water so to speak, and the only way I can get the tank moving again is to rotate either the turret or hull individually... That's particularlly anoying when there is a freeze running circles around me and I stand zero chance of even trying to defend myself or when I try to bust out in multiple directions and my tank just stops (got the twins M2 and I'm not getting my crystal's worth because of this). And in the end I get called a noob because I "don't know how to rotate the turret" LOL Has anyone been having the same problem? BTW just a little off-topic question, I searched around but the doubt still remains, if I am using thunder and a thunder protecting paint (lets say emerald), does the paint prevent against splash damage to my own tank? Please let me know as it is going to influence my next paint buy. Thanks, keep shooting ;)

Yes, I've tried all those solutions and nothing works. As I said the game was running fine until the update, now it looks I'm back in 1975...

Hi guys Since the last update when the quick server change was implemented my FPS has always been around 12 and my PING is always higher than 400. I have a preety good computer and a 200Mb fiber connection, and there should be no reason why the game would act like this. It was fine until the said update. Could you please try and give me a solution for this because its impossible to play like this, and I'm lucky if I score 200 points in a battle (but I did get a Gold Box with FPS=4) :D Waiting to hear from you EDIT: also my standalone flash player now loads the game up to around 95% and then the loading bar gets stuck, can't even reach the login page....

Time to see if druggers are really all they think they are... enjoy while it lasts. After this update I will play even more, as some battles will no longer become a waste of time because some players have the 2-3-4 buttons stuck or something, and even after massive drugging start calling other players noobs because they kill them with no effort. I had some days when I entered 5 or 6 battles straight and there was always someone non-stop drugging, killing all the opponents the moment they spawned, leading me to quit the battle (even if I was on the same team as the druggers) and become so frustrated with the current gameplay that I didn't play again for 3 or 4 days. As for all the druggers who keep saying "buy a Pro Pass", why doesn't Tanki Online create a mode with heavy drugging allowed, creates a Pass and you buy it? If you have the crystals for drugs you can very well afford to buy it... keep in mind that if some players don't have the crystals for drugs they probabilly won't have the crystals for a Pro Pass, just putting it out there... I think this update will be awesome as it will level the battlefield, and the micro-upgrades will become even more relevant than before (today you could have a fully upgrade M3, all it took as a M2 on drugs to take you out), and give new players a better chance on battles with higher ranks (because everyone deserves to kill a Generalissimo once in a while) :D And to all the druggers out there, crying and screaming they will never play again, just don't forget, control the dropzones and there will be no shortage of drugs, that should be no problem for such great players as you... or can't you do it without the old 2-3-4? Time will tell I think...

Double battle funds are awesome, but i kinda wish it would only affect the battle fund and not the amount of crys box drops, because on these days you see lots of players just picking up crystals instead of playing the game. Yesterday I was on a CTF map, 15 flags, we were winning 7-0, with a battle fund of over 18.000. My team started only picking up crystal boxes, a couple of druggers came to the other team and we lost 10-15, and during the intire game more than half the team just didn't care. Ironically they lost a 25.000 battle fund to pick up around 500 crys in box drops, which by my math is just stupid. It sucked for me because I was first on my team and would have won around 7.000, but hey, win some lose some :D

First of all I'd like to say I support this idea's fundamentals, however there are a few things thas should be said. @ Canadian_E a few days ago I joined a battle against you on server 2, Stadium CTF 100 flags. As I joined a 2k gold box dropped and I caught it (having 30points at the time), your immediate response was flooding the chat that it was unfair, I should be reported and you hated players like me. It was clear at that point that it was only unfair because it wasn't you that caught it (you were destroyed literally 1sec before I swept in and catch it), and at the end of the day I finished the battle with 5000+ points and you finished it with little over 2000. If the kick system was in play I'd probabilly be voted out before I could do anything, as you started ranting about 2 secs after the gold box drop, not even giving me the chance of showing I was there to play. Moral of the story, take more than 2secs to evaluate a situation/player and don't start complaining every 10secs because he had better luck than you. As for the /vote command it has been my experience that it's a waste of time, if a player is insulting via chat the mod will silence him, if he's multing/cheating nothing really happens, he will stay there the intire game doing so. Had such an experience yesterday, where a player (luckly or not) was always saying with 20secs advance when a gold box would drop (and guessed all 4 that did), and when they dropped he'd always find a way to appear on top of us and catch them (all 4). I used the /vote command over and over and nothing happened. Also reporting is something I stopped doing and am not starting again, as 3 days ago there was someone in the chat trying to get players passwords, I engaged him in order to catch him saying explicitly that he wanted my password and report him (like I did dozens of times). My reward? A 24 hour ban for cheating... If this is what I get no thank you, let them steal the passwords of new and trusting players and I'll look after myself. Curious enough on the same chat there was a Generalissimo asking a Field Marechal if he could go to a battle and mult the other team, he said yes, and the mod, that clearly was watching, just ignored it. This said, I clearly support the ban of cheaters / mults and saboteurs, but honestly I just don't care enough these days, as all it takes is a day with double battle fund to see them by the dozens. If a battle has one or more on it I just move out and find another one or go on PRO Battles, more than tha its just not worth the trouble.

It's sad that TO charges us crystals to play in PRO battles, if not I'm guessing that this group (and other groups like this) would be much more successful. Guess the main problim is that the bulk of players just don't know how to play without drugs, or are simply compelled to by the players who always do.

what's the max rank to join this? I'm also sick and tired of all the druggers in the game, sometimes I don't even have a chance to try out a new weapon / hull / paint without using drugs first, which in my oppinion has become rediculous at some points, mainly in double battle fund or 2k/3k gold box days

Hi guys, I'm having this problem that's been happening a lot and it's costing me a lot of crystals, as I losse the battle funds, sometimes very high. The game just kicks me out for no reason, costing me crystals, and at one point in the middle of a gold box drop. Please do something as I never used a hack my intire life and it bums me out being the first position in a winning team, whit battle funds of 30.000 crys and gettin kicked and not winning a single one.
