Here's the tutorial if anyone wants to watch it. If you lose the track point you can: find the frame before it gets lost, move it to a better pixel and from that frame track again. This should work. The contrast border on the tank was done in blender render (I'll explain why in a sec) in the render options one of the options is Freestyle, check it. That's it, you can mess with the pixel count, it will change the width of the line. So why blender render instead of cycles? I was almost ready to render in cycles complete with textures on tank, but without a shadows only plane, when blender crashed, I completely forgot to save. So I do it again, better this time in general but I have plenty of render issues the way I'm doing it (different from the tutorial since I'm doing it in cycles) so I finally cave, switch to blender render and finally get it working. I feel pretty stupid, as I was about to post a question I think, maybe there's a tutorial out there! There is. If I had watched that ALL of my problems would be solved. Why didn't I Google this last night?

It took WAY too long to make this. Mainly stemming from cycles render / blender render issues. I wanted to see what I could do so here's my first attempt at camera tracking!

Yeah I had hopes to win, then I saw MetalMann's post. Great work by all! lol as of now shade is the only reserved on the 1st page that actually entered. Comes out the beginning of each month, so March 1st. -
You can use a particle system with an Icosphere object as the particle and an emission material on the icosphere. Some where in here.

The top bar says: Wings3D - SwiftS1_07_good.wings*. Google swift glider S 1 and you get a type of glider, 07 might be the specific modification. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swift_S-1

I find it odd that the original artist would alter the background of his/her art, from white to pink, and draw it in 2009 to submit now. Just my thoughts. -

Last post is me trying to get the topic restarted.

Honestly I don't know. There is discussion of those programs, it's just hard to find work. As I said the creativity section is filled with forum signatures, screenshots and YouTube channels, not much else.

I just got War Thunder, its creativity section on the forum is so sad. There's some great work in the blender topic, its just inactive, and other then that most topics are for signatures or YouTube channels.

My entry, Might have some small changes. Scorpion is an unmanned electric tank made for fast assault. It's small 80mm turret allows for Scorpion to take on light targets, and its auto loader lessons the reload time, putting it at an advantage over hand loaded Main Battle Tanks (MBTs), to act as a fast first wave tank, and to clear the way for modern MBTs. It's electric engines remove the need for a transmission, and provide instant torque to the motors for better acceleration. It's batteries are held in armored chambers and are separated to prevent a damaged battery to set fire to the others. Scorpion can be equipped with the latest modifications including smokescreens, infrared jamming units to prevent many missiles from locking on, and reactive armor plating which creates a small explosion that pushes a metal plate into the incoming shell to lessen the blow to the tank. 333rd post. -
Yeah I noticed that too. As I said, work in progress.

The tank was from mind and the fighters were off this.

Nice, I generally like Vulcan, I would like a cooler sound though the current makes it sound like a light machine gun.

What I've been working on for a while, still need to turn up the cycles. BF-109 fighters (WIP) Newspaper contest entry. No name as of now.

My friend is getting a 3D printer, he and I will be having fun. Maybe even printing rockets. I'm also working on the Newspaper contest, got some cool ideas.
