I almost never use Thunder, purely because there are too many people with protection from it, and also because there are way better alternatives. To me, this change doesn't seem too bad, it'd certainly be a nightmare for those people who just used to camp and not move. But at the same time, I feel like the projectile speed should increase a little bit, to make it a bit different than Gauss.

It's my current go-to weapon. Really fun to use, especially because the one being locked on has no idea.. Packs a hefty punch and gets the job done.

Yep, that's what I thought too and that's what my suggestion number 2 does. :D Glad its fixed.

Since you have a laptop. There's 2 things I will recommend. 1. Make sure that you are using "High Performance" mode on your power settings and play with the charger plugged in. 2. If you have dual graphics (like an nvidia/amd one and an intel one, which is common in laptops) Then when playing the game, let's say from Client. Right click on client, and select, "Run with graphics processor" ->High performance one. Like this That should hopefully be enough.

In order to do this, new animated versions of all the existing paints will have to be made. And I think, after that much effort the devs may just release them as new paints :P not to mention that the probability of getting involved in such a big task is not too high.
