Removing the extremely cheap supply kits was not a bad decision. Also to introduce some new less discounted, without DP included. The shorter active time makes them more expensive. All these motivate drug buyers to spend considerably more real money on supplies, especially DP. On the other hand there are some changes which makes the life of a lower rank player very difficult: ProBattle pass costs the same for everybody, but still I feel it expensive as Brigadier. I will definitely buy some after ranking up. But for a lower rank player it costs a fortune, and it is not fair. I bought some crystals twice, but first only when reached WO5. Before that I relied on cry collection in battles including the drops. The today system would highly demotivate me to stay in the game long. And I developed only my Hornet/Railgun combo. All in all, the today ranking up speed is too fast compared to cry collecting possibilities. Having a lower rank I would need an Anti-ScoreMultiplierPass, that is a way to slow down my XP growing. Of course in the way that does not influence the share from the battle fund. Taking into consideration the actions TO has done recently, we can expect the following: The daily gift will be removed or reduced dramatically, so that you have to pay even more real cash on the game No more 70% discount on hulls, turrets and paints, only on supplies (to make you more addicted) New turrets and hulls coming will be highly over powered to motivate users buying them. (After some time - when a lot of players bought that - and lot of complaints received they will "listen to the users" and introduce a "balancing" of them.) These above are quite obvious, however I have some even more evil ideas how to get high ranked players pay more cash ... But all these should be balanced between the more income and less player staying with the game. I do not think that TO would have appealed to me without the opportunity to play it free for a long time. Now this opportunity is reduced a lot. My comments: New Gold Box system: I did not like the dropping without pre-notification. The 20 sec is enough to start searching, but still there is a luck factor needed. So, I think the more experienced stronger players have less chance than in the original system. Now I feel catching again with the same ratio as before the immediate-dropping was introduced. Crystal drops: I liked the crystals (the 10 only, the 50 and 100 cry boxes were way to appealing to everybody). Not only because sometimes I could collect more from them than from the battle fund, but mainly because it was so funny shooting the collectors to kick up the score. The battles are now sometimes more intensive, sometimes emptied on the loosing side more quickly. Time limit and fund sharing: Very long battles were risky due to drugger teams raiding and kinda steeling the fund. Although it is not prevented now, the system demotivates that. I like that. I think the decision to allow longer 45 and 60 min. battles is also good. Recently I entered a CTF PRO battle where I realized only after entering that the length is 999 min. without flag limit. This is stupid. I regret that I did not get back some hours later to see the status. More than 4-5 hours is too much for me. Even that is crazy. Recompense the effort of the loosing team with the 20% share even in case of zero result is good, and motivates to stay in battle. So, I support that even though we can get less on the winning side.

Why don't you TO just add the opportunity to choose the battle mode between cry drop (the old 10 cry boxes) or higher fund without crystal drops. In normal plays of course, not in a pro game. Then you can have an even better survey about what the players like. Also, everybody can play whatever mode they want. Sometimes I feel like playing with crystals and collect some. Sometimes I do not care, and not even move for one before me (it was in the 10 cry box time).

I have another argument to keep the crystal drops (but with the old way, not with 1 and definitely not with 50 and 100 cry boxes). Picking up some cry boxes gives some fun (beside the revenue) and some feel of success. And that is important to keep players with the game. Think it through. Even for the hard drug users and buyers the occasional and non-buyer players increase the feeling of success as it is much easier to destroy them. Only buyers and continuous druggers would be boring as there would not be some easy kill for them. I would not like to loose the non-buyers from the game. I am an occasional buyer, and I definitely do not buy drugs. Rarely use them. Even when I end up in the top 3 of the winner team I pick up some drugs, and kinda like that earning. Double fund is quite rare, so I do not mind the cry rush that time. The crazy crystal hunting for the 20-50-100 boxes was I think much worse. Battles without cry boxes give some fun away, and may demotivate some players who we definitely need (to kill :)

Mixed feeling: 1-5-10-20-50-100 Crystals: very bad and really distracting game play. Especially in case of 50 and 100. No 50 and 100 cry box, please. I found even myself fighting for them in plays where I had not go for the 10 crys earlier. The old 10 cry system was much better. Cry prediction is not needed. No crystal at all: Good part that no cry collectors stay away from team work, but I did not feel that as a big problem. Bad part is that the battle fund is shared only at the end, who has to leave earlier cannot get anything. I was in two battles today where in one we were loosing, and team mates started to leave quickly as there was no chance for getting any cry for us. As it was not a very long battle nobody joined us. No chance at least to get a few cry when wandering about the map. In another battle I was on a winner side, and then the enemy left soon as we were stronger. Some remaining collector would have made the play at least a little enjoying then. Predicted drops: Supply: OK Crystal: I don't like Gold: I don't like Gold at once: It does not seem fine to me, but I have no experience Long battles: not fair with those fighting hard and play only for a while not to give them some cry to earn from the drops. All in all I would prefer the old cry system come back (at least partially) for the crystals. No higher than 20 cry in a box. No predicted drop zones. So, what about reducing the cry drops by 30-50% and adding them to the fund. The rest would drop in 10 and max. 20 cry boxes as in the past. This way "the goat has enough to eat and also the cabbage remains" (Hungarian saying).

You are right, however this will affect only the turret and not the hull (or vica versa). It would rarely happen that both are on sale. About the new KITs: The launch of the new kits is expected at the end of this week. I just hope I can rank up before that. Source: facebook, TankiOnline

Thanks Kirby. So DM gives the least xp, as it has no other score gaining opportunity. On the other hand my feeling was that my xp rocketed up. How can it be? I have an idea (I hope that helps the other inexperienced players) In TDM and CTF I did not kill so frequently as I did in DM. Although I ended up on the top of the score card several times, going for flag and capturing is not really my playing style. I prefer to defend and help my team mate capturing. This way I need a lot of killing to be ahead of players capturing the flag which needs long and balanced fighting. In TDM the 15 points are shared, so one shot or killing might be only a fraction of it. Being successful in DM means you kill a lot. Killing there is/can be quick. There are no team mates helping the enemy, no healing Isida. (though I found a couple in DM not killing each other, but attacking others together :( ). So, although there are other more xp gaining opportunities in other battle modes, the frequent killing in DM may compensate and provide you more xp in the same time.

I do not think they will loose players due to this, however I know they will get a lot disappointed. What I cannot understand how these new kits will be more appealing, because for me they are not. They are definitely more expensive, and you buy either the hull or the turret later then the earliest time you can (according to the garage rules).

Actually there is one question not answered: How will the kit price be changed (if it will be) If I have either the hull or the turret already in my garage?

The 1st reason of removing the old kits were (as Semyon said) to balance the game so that you can buy a hull or turret only when you can buy them separately from the garage. This makes at least some of the kits so useless: Check the "Chuck Norris": M1 Hornet is available from WO2, but in kit you can buy it only from WO3 (because the M1 Rail is available from WO3 only). This is the first reason these new structure is not motivating to buy. I will most probably have either the turret or the hull in my garage. The 2nd reason Semyon had mentioned was to make the new kits more affordable and appealing then the old ones. This aim is failed. At 25% discount these kits are much more expensive. And again, not really motivated. I will really miss the M3 Light Kit. Having ranked to General (where the M3 Rail gets available) I most probably will have M3 Hornet. So, why the hell would I buy an XP kit then? Especially, on this ridiculous low discount. I have already bought 2 kits. I bought crystals then to be able to buy them early enough. So, I would like to thank Tanki taking the motivation away to spend my cash on the game. :(

A 9-es nagyon sokszor túlterhelt. Lehet, hogy ideje lenne valamelyik EN szerverre "átköltözni"? Bár annak meg az lenne a "hibája", hogy nincs rajta elég játékos.

I love the game, too. I can hardly wait for the new drugging system applied, too. I rarely use supplies, and I hate the drug wars. On the other hand the new kit structure seems to be at least strange. I am a kit buyer (or rather I used to be), however why the hell shall I buy a kit if I can buy some part of the kit earlier. Thanks Tanki for taking away the motivation to buy crystals. That will save me money. (I have to admit that I have no enough information about the new system, so I might be wrong.) -

My recommendation in hull/turret upgrade order is the turret first (at least for Rail/Smoky/Thunder/Shaft/Rico players). It is better to have a stronger turret to kill more (and get more for that) than be destroyed more rarely. It does not mean though that I would not invest into a hull upgrade earlier if a sale made it bargain :) -

Yes. In the beginning of the (1-3) battles they could fairly stand the attacks, and they could even counter attack. No success on both sides. After a while however it seemed that AI started to deflate. Noobest broke the defence. The beginning of battle #4 looked like AI would not have been on the map. Must have been hard for them anyway, Noobest was much stronger. So, respect for AI playing so hard in the beginning. -
When I loose connection, so I am practically out, the system shows me still in the battle. My friend saw me in. So, nobody can join to get your place, but a slow entering can exceed the 2 minutes limit of the system, and then you will be really out. Anyway, if you were out you would at once loose your achievement.

I saw several guys are struggling with the Fatal Server Error and loose chrystals and achievements. I several times experienced this error especially in servers with more than 1800 players logged in. The cleaning of browser cache helped a little, but still I get this error too much. BUT I NEVER LOOSE ANY CHRYSTAL!!! (Only when due to too frequent error I intentionally leave the battle) This is a temporary solution only, and i never found it in the forum: - quit from the fullscreen mode, but not with the red X exit button! - click on the URL bar, but pay attention not to clear it so that to keep the link of the battle - hit enter or the reload page button - then you have to re-login to the server, but you will be at once dropped back into the battle Comments: - AFAIK you have two minutes to reenter - maybe this equals to one self destruct, but your killing and achievement won't loose

I know the German keyboard is also QWERTZ, but I have not tried TO in German. I play TO in EN, and I also use English keyboard. This issue is for those Hungarians and other QWERTZ keyboard users, who have no EN keyboard is installed on their computer and play the TO in English."

I think the Rail requires the most practice and skills to get successful. So, it is a kind of challenge. Not just shooting and killing by hitting the button. On the other hand I do not aggree with others saying the Freeze does not requires skills. My experience is that it is also challenging in controlling the tank movement (on Wasp or Hornet) but without simultaenous turret rotation it is useless. Of course only if you wanna be really good. Yesterday I saw am M2 Viking/Freeze combo in the map Stadium and the guy did not even turned the turret. The only reason of his results was his heavy supply use. So, it is not only the heavy damage, becuase then Shaft should win the votes. Even if a difficult or tricky shot did not kill, the acurate hit can give feeling of a little success.

Valid Battle option for restricting certain equipment

It would be only an optional setting as far as i understand. I think it is a good idea to provide that opportunity for some players to play games for only one turret type battle. This will not be mandatory so the above worries are unreasonable.
