DJax claims that a Russian mod banned and unbanned his friend just to get crystals, but he provides absolutely no evidence for this.

The dumb actions of some have an affect on even the most honest ones. 

We aren't flawless, neither is the system so they can get mixed up, but that's why you can argue the case

That's a fair point, but then again, Premium subscriptions aren't going to be cheap (at least, I hope not!), so its owner is making a substantial contribution to the Tanki project, which I'd say deserves something special.

Yes, but my idea on a Premium Account (based on what I have seen in other games) is that it gives the player advantages that don't affect other players or gameplay (XP and Cry Boost, XT availability, maybe some other advantages). Yeah a special paint will be cool, but with protections that dont compare to other special paints 

It sucks the actions of 1 or 2 mods can have an affect on all of us.

 

I am great friends with a lot of mods and I don't think they would ever be dishonest or set up anything to earn crystals. 

@canadarules has a good point -- we're exaggerating the effect that the Premium paint will have on gameplay. It's not like a battle is ruined when a couple players have Helper paint.

No its not gonna ruin the battle, but the protections is what makes Helper, Champion, Acid ect. special

 

In big battles they are a gem though, but small sided battles or battles with lack of diversity, they aren't that great

I'm fine with the idea of premium accounts, but that paint seems a bit sketchy even to me - even after reducing the protections to 15%.

After seeing classyplebs' YouTube videos, I'm starting to think that TO is now corrupt and paying Mods to make Tanki look great, don't try to hide my posts or anything because, I mean, come on, you have to respond to hate well, you can't just keep tearing it down because TO is starting to get lazy and they aren't even fixing THE Lag, they decide to remove the down-vote button? Rly? They made it after Semyon got like 2 Million down votes when u decreased the discount from 50% to 40%.

The protection of the paint has decreased. Thats what we wanted.

They have listened, its been deducted. If it proves too OP I'm sure they will nerf it further.

 

In the mean time be thankful progress has been made :) Maybe if we keep trying we can actually make this update work for everyone :)

Personally, I think trying to find new ways to get players to spend real money on the old Flash Tanki, whilst continually promoting the new Unity Tanki, is very strange indeed.  Though I guess this is paving the way for how things will be in Tanki Unity.

Just thought I would share MY opinion on Premium Accounts

 

I believe this will be a great update for Tanki, but with a few tweaks.

My view on what a premium account should be is that it gives the player advantages that don't affect other players or gameplay, such as XP and Crystal boost, XT availability and perhaps special discounts.

But here is what I propose should be changed

 

Firstly, the paint. Yes, Give them a premium paint. No, don't give it protections. There are players out there who have worked hard all their Tanki career to get to the top. They finally get into star series and earn one of the 4 protection paints given out. They go join a battle and see a player that has just started with a paint just as good as his. To me, not only does the awesome look of the paint make it special, but the epic protections that come with it. Also, 20% protection makes a difference. I have been playing with helper since I got it and I found it really helpful in battles. I think that 10% protection would be fair, but anything more makes all other special paints not worth trying to get.

 

Secondly, Make XT's available 2 ranks after the M3 becomes available and make them more expensive. This still keeps XT's rare, but then again gives the premium users the change to buy them. They don't give an advantage in battles, as their stats are identical to their M3 brothers, so buyers won't "rule" the battles with these.

 

Please don't hate on me. This is all MY opinions and ideas on how both players and tankers will get what they want. Don't go quoting me saying your wrong, your supporting them just because your a Wiki Editor and all that jazz. this is what I honestly think, and I hope you accept it and maybe even agree :)
