It is no longer the responsibility of chat mods to come to battles where players use the /vote command for reported hackers, mults, or saboteurs There is a staff group with accounts named Game_Violators that are responsible to come to those battles. It was decided that chat mods are to focus on chat although some chat mods are members of the Game_Violators group as well. Yele oversees the Game_Violators group. Well, it was immediately obvious that freeze is too powerful. It kills too quickly but allowing the tank it is freezing to move faster is an improvement. Update: I tried freeze and had fun with it. LOL

I prefer the non-PRO battles being 30 minutes or less. I'd like to see the 30 minute non-PRO maximum return. It allows more of the players to be present at the end of the battle and receive the crystals they earned during the battle. Also, longer battles result in more players leaving if their team is losing. They don't want to wait a long time to just lose. This causes battles to become one sided with many more players on the winning team and comparatively few players on the losing team -- thus everyone loses because very uneven battles aren't fun for either team. I'm glad that the team that loses can get up to 40% of the battle fund. If you stay in a battle you should have something to show for it even if your team loses. The 20 second notification for the gold box drop seems about right. I'm glad the crystal box drops are gone. They were annoying because so many players were distracted by them and some players were only in the battles to collect crystal boxes and do nothing else. I don't like the idea of adding a view-able laser to shafts. It will cause everyone in the battle to focus on the shafts and the lasers will be a sight distraction for all. I do, however, like the idea of a red dot appearing on the ground showing its aim when a shaft is in scope mode, just not a laser to follow it back with. Maybe shafts only need a view-able laser extending from the tip of the shaft for about the length of two tanks and then it fades away?

I like these changes. :)

Hi. I know ShadowDemon13 is referring to me. ShadowDemon13 has harassed me several times now in battles anytime I ban someone for breaking tanki's rules. I remember one night when I was doing some banning in a battle before I went to bed. I don't remember if I was playing in the battle or if some players told me people were breaking rules in the battle and I went to it in spectator mode. Either way, if I come across players breaking Tanki's rules it is my obligation as a moderator to ban them according to Tanki's moderator rules. ShadowDemon13 already knows players can dispute their bans with a chat admin if they feel they were banned incorrectly. Case closed.
