Favourite is the original and more widely used spelling, but favorite has been used since the 17th century (1800's), so it's not as though it is a new arrival. So favourite is not 'Old' English, anymore then favorite is 'new' English, and neither is right or wrong. Problem solved. 'And also, nobody says "Though shalt kiss thy you" because that sentence makes absolutely no sense. Good day!
