It is, and I have, although not all of them. Past about the 8th one, they get so dark that they become adult books, not child's books. There is torture explained in graphic detail in one of them. Yeah, they are hard. I haven't read them fully either, though I probably should. And I forgot, Tom Clancy's many series are all flopping amazing.
