I did think it was odd that the rule is so quietly hinted, that I did indeed believe the battle mod made a mistake. I thought it wouldn't be help to bring it do authorities because based on previous occasions, I was stuck with it in my karma. HOWEVER, the tables have turns and as bydolord quoted so amazingly above, D_S is looking into it. Whether it's just because staff members were banned as well, I honestly don't care :lol: Every time I get banned it's a drama show :c About the rule, it says: 2.1.5. Sabotage — Any acts or omissions aimed at creating obstructions for the team where the User is a member, including in CTF, TDM and CP modes, fighting against the team of which you are a member (intentional selection of weak equipment, frequent pauses, inactivity or intentional failure to comply with map’s or game mode’s requirements, imitation of issues with internet connection), damaging/destroying an ally’s tank, fighting in the interest of the opponent’s team (conspiracy); See how that can slightly fit in? Surely this only meant in regular battles, and the battle mod made a mistake. Well, he'll be unbanned soon enough. His name is Semyon Strizhak and the problems being taken care of. Would I be able to get this removed from my karma? It clearly seemed like a troll, the rule doesn't sound real, it isn't very specific in the rule (it does say it, but not straight out)

The guy was a spectator, he probably thought that it would be self understood that when a spectator joins a battle and warns you... it's a warning. And exactly, we failed to complete the game modes purpose (capturing flags). I'm not saying I agree with the rule, but hey, I can't go complaining to Cedric that I didn't deserve a ban for swearing since I don't agree it should be a rule. I know none of us read it at first, but when you register an account, you promise to follow the rules. And I s'pose we were notified, about a month ago. Every time Tanki makes changes to the rules, they send out a notifications, saying to reread them. I even remember discussing the changes in a Skype chat.

I won't contact him for it will gain absolutely zero. By the time Cedric even reads my message my ban will be over. Ask him to remove the ban from my karma you ask? Well, that's a different story. As I said, we were warned, I just didn't take it seriously. It's my fault I'm banned. Not to say I want to be, but the mod had every right to kick me, he warned us about 5 times before doing anything. Was rather nice of him to do so if you ask me.

A bunch of staff members made a STG a few hours ago, it was fun actually, unfortunately, no one took the gold. Keep reading to know why :ph34r: About 20 minutes after I joined the STG, a spectator showed up, he told everyone that STGs in CTF mode were forbidden (and are only allowed in DM and TDM). We all thought it was an attacker trolling for fun (I personally thought it was ), so we ignored it. The spectator kept warning us that if the defenders didn't take the (I quote) "golden box" or give it to us (the attackers), we'd all be in trouble. Eventually, some people started taking it seriously and began to leave, some started asking the spectator questions on the matter (to make sure it was actually against the rules), and some still simply still didn't take it seriously. Turns out, the spectator was a battle moderator and it indeed was against the rules, and I'll explain why I think so in a bit. Some people left, but some (including me) didn't make it out in time. All the players in the battle (staff members included) got kicked from the server and from it for 1 hour. I was actually laughing my head off at the fact that so many mods got kicked from the server in one shot, was simply hilarious. :lol: However, now I'm not so happy about it all, because what I've just discovered is that I was blocked from the server for 1 hour, but I'm banned from the chat for a day .-. I'm not here to discriminate the rules in any shape or form, I understand I was dumb, and that I should've realized the spec was serious, but I didn't, so meh. I still find it funny, but just not as funny as before :lol: You are disconnected from the chat. You will be on air within 22 hour(s) 33 minute(s). Reason: Саботаж [ = sabotage, by the way] About the rule though, I think it's against the rules now because it was noticed that STGs in CTF battles are defeating the purpose of the mode (capturing flags), thus sabotaging in a way. However, in DM / TDM battles, you're still killing, so it's fine. This would mean that STGs in CP battles are also against the rules. I agree with the rule (sorta), but I don't like how I was never notified that this was a rule before this occasion. Once again, I didn't make this post to discriminate the rules in any way, so please don't hide this :c

The Feeling of Ban The feeling of ban, one of the most feared feelings in all of Tanki, but yet, such a common occurrence, for example, what happened with Lil' boy Rabin. ~ ~ ~ "Why do you have Flame paint?" Asked Rabin to Ostrica. "Because I'm hot." Ostrica replied. "-- I'm hot too" Said the forever alone guy in the chat. Ignoring him, Ostrica and I decided to keep up the fun game. "I'm cool, give me Frost." I said. There was no reply. 5 seconds passed, 10 seconds, 30 seconds past, and still no reply. Yet finally "I'm out guys, enjoy playing Tanki!" Ostrica said as she logged off. I started to get bored, Ostrica happened to be in the RU1 chat, talking to random people, so I decided to talk to her, but now that she left, there was no one really to talk to. So being the bored soul I was, I started a trend in the chat. "./AddCryOrElseIWillHackYou" I said. "./AddAdminToFriends Ostrica" Another said. Before I knew it, the chat was filled with /'s and nonsense like that: "./GoldBox", "./CrystalBoxes", "./Hi". It was a mess, so the mod came to sweep the crumbs off the floor. "Player (other player that was doing the trend) has been banned for a day. Reason: Provocation -/- Rules." "Oh no..." Were my last words. "Player Yisroel.Rabin has been banned for a day. Reason: Provocation -/- Rules." "." I typed in, but all that came up was "You are disconnected from the chat. You will be on air within 23 hour(s) 59 minute(s). I tried reading forum posts, but because of the "must reply" sorta guy I am, I couldn't stand not being able to reply. I guess the ban wasn't the problem, the problem was I had nothing to do. I played on my alt a bit, but it got boring. I thought of reporting this guy who was swearing his head off, but I decided not to, even though I usually would, what's the point of being that hard-core rule follower if you just broke the rules yourself? I mean, I didn't break the rules, but the mod thought I did. Anyways, I logged off my alt and tried surfing the internet, but it was only a few minutes before I noticed, I legitimately had nothing to do! It's truly sad being banned, nothing to do, and nothing that you can do about it, except sit there and keep typing and clicking enter, counting down the minutes until the ban is over. The morrow of this story is not to not get banned, but if you do get banned, have something planned to do beforehand, or else you're done for. Inspired by the moderator that banned me. ;)

Hello there dear mod, I, Rabin, clearly do not see what I did wrong. I posted a video of Sami talking about the update... It's called "an opinion", if we cannot share our opinion on things, then what kind of game is this? Tell me now, what is this? Can we only share nice stuff? Do we have to agree with Tanki? NO, we don't. So go ahead, ban me. I want to become a mod for a bunch of reasons, but the main reason is so I can treat players with respect, because I know what it feels like to be treated like dirt by mods. So yes, I hate Tanki, I hate most mods, but I still want to become one anyway, so I can act like a true one. Mods should be able to disagree with Tanki. They don't have to love Tanki to be a mod. I dislike the upcoming update, I can say I dislike it. I didn't swear, I didn't "ruin" the games reputation anymore than anyone else here. Please mods, understand us, the people you once were. Thank you.
