1 million crystals for conquering the new map's peak!
Kata891 replied to semyonkirov in Contests Archive
I love abyss so much! But like Rio, this will not run on my computer! *sigh* even though it is awesome, Tanki, please fix performance! All users would prefer it! -
Fixed for ya'. ;) No matter what rank you are, you can use good grammar.

Dude, someone who has common sense! I love it! Great article, well written, spoken well! Great job! +1! I agree with everything you said!

See everybody. You sholda stopped whining before with their 25% sales... But this is awesome! To bad I justed ranked up and already bought m1 railgun...

I like how you made this thread like, 100 times, and now it is finally open! lol But looking at the tank, it does resemble one. I wish Tanki would consider adding one like this, where it is very weak, medium speed and agility, but it has a "cloaking" device where it is harder to see, and from far away, it's near impossible. It would make the game more interesting. (Note that from close range the tank would be clearly visible)

What he's saying, though, is that he never was told what he did wrong. Just that he had a copyright issue, and one day, his account is gone!

There were mistakes over and over again. I told you the mistakes. Ha ha! I laughed out loud when I read this.

Probably support. As said, the shaft is a tricky gun, because it can't defend to well or offend to well when in a team setting. Usually a shaft is just sniping and assisting teammates. For you, (assuming you are a hornet and shaft) I suggest finding a good sniping spot, where 1. You can shoot and hide. 2. See your flag, and the other base. 3. See most of the field. After you find a good spot, scan the field. Where do your teammates need help? Are they going to go take the flag? Is there a Mammoth sitting on the flag? Snipe the Mammoth. It's important, however, not to snipe the "wasp" or "hornet" just because they are easy kills. Look for who needs to be destroyed.

I use to say CTF. It was fun, and it would still be fun, except most people don't work as a team so it ruins it for me. DM also is a easy way to get XP fast.

Great guide for any amateur tanki online player! I honestly wish I read this back when I first started. There should be a way to access this forum page in the game when you first start. The amount of information may be overwhelming to a lot of new players, but this information is invaluable. Anyone who finds it and exercise this will succeed at any rank.

You have no idea how vague and open to interpretation this topic is. Best gun is ricochet, hands down. I don't use it, but everyone knows it. For paint, just depends on your hull. As a Mammoth, I am looking for a paint that gives me protection against two turrents: Firebrd, and Ricochet. (Used to be Firebird and isida) So whichever paint has the highest protection with both of those is the best.

Pretty great guide. I never thought of freeze for defending. I drive a mammoth and usually use a railgun on larger maps, and twins on smaller. It works pretty well, but a freeze and mammoth (if it is the right course) is a great combo. However, the biggest thing I would change is 1. Fix your grammar. I don't care if your 13, 17, 89... that needs to be better. I can fix it for you, if you would like. 2. Typically when referring to objects, it's not a "him" it's a "her". For example, I would refer to my car as: "She's a great car". Just something to think about changing. 3. Add some basic illustrations and tactics for defending. If your by yourself on an average course, how do you defend? If you have more players, how do you defend? But you did a good job. I agree with almost every thing you said. Great job, +1!

So true. Ticking someone off isn't going to improve your image. It's just going to make the person you ticked off angry and the people around you will not take you seriously. I typically, for example, if someone tells me to f*** off, I will just say, "Thank you." This usually shocks them, and then they go on to ask why did I say thank you. I say because it's a compliment, because I am doing so well that he got angry and burst out. And it stops after that because I made him look like a fool in front of the entire game. lol. Maybe I made that last part up, but I do act nice to those who offend me. Fighting doesn't solve any thing, your just feeding the trolls who are looking for someone to get angry if you fight back. If you respond in love, the troll will stop and either move on, or join you. (I actually had someone start cussing me off, and then at the end of the game, he became my friend and is now in my clan-to-be.)

What’s the most absurd thing you’ve ever done to impress a crush?

HA HA HA HA! I love the balloons one. -
I was actually thinking about this today, ha ha! Mine would be to stop time. I can manipulate objects within the time I stop it. However, because I am the only thing within the universe that is in a different time layer, it conflicts with my body and hurts me. So the longer I stop time, the more it kills me.

Yeah, even though I would like other hulls like the Hunter or Mammoth on sale, it's up to the majority. I mean, if the majority wants Hornet, but they give Dictator, people will get mad. But, if the majority ever changes, then if they keep putting Hornet on sale, people will get mad.

Just so you know, we don't generally spam the forum. ;) I reported this post, but you could take it down now instead of a mod.

Yeah, your right. In CTF, it is kinda useless. In DM, though, I wish it could help boost your score a little bit. For example, if I am one kill behind the top player, but my D/L rate is 4.0 and his is .89, I should win the match. Just something I wish they would add. But your right, in a team setting, it does make me re-think taking a risk. I am proud of the fact that 95% of my battles are over 1.0 d/l rate, and 60% of them are over 2.0 and I consistently find myself over 3.0. I mean, it would be really disgraceful to be driving a mammoth and not be over 1.0... But yeah, like you said, people always need to sacrifice for the team, and d/l rate is one of the factors they won't.

Absolutely this is true. I honestly couldn't have to many discussions with you on what I learned this year. But I did get good grades...
