Well, it's your choice - I'm not going to stop you from doing it, but just saying, I'd personally wait it out - it might be better in the long run. How much crystals do you have on Adversary? If it's above 100k, sure, go for Vulcan M1. However, if it's below it might be better in the long run to wait for the kit - seeing as your account has a 1:1 ratio. It might be a good idea to enter that account into some contests (if you haven't already) such as TTC, or the newspaper contests.

No - why get M1 when you can get M2 three ranks away? For you I'd get Avalanche, then get a better M2 kit later on (e.g. Minotaur, Notherner, Atlas, Ram)

Rico and Twins are good choices. Firebird if you want to get the alteration. depends on your playing style But overall Firebird and Thunder M2 are good choices. Personally I'd skip Thunder M2 and get the Firebird alteration, it is very good.

So if I understand, the strongest turret now is probably Firebird. And in under two updates, the two previous strongest turrets of the game (you can guess) just became probably the worst.
