    Let's Discuss Isida!

ghost-guns, on 10 Sept 2016 - 16:21, said: That would probably require 3 shafts on double power to take them out. Pretty simple task as long as at least 2 shafts stay together, and a third diverts the isidas

    Let's Discuss Shaft!

I don't recall the last time I came to the forum. It's been so long. Hi all, if anyone cares. Too right mate. I never thought about this tactic. I pretty much do what you do.
  3. I'm repeating this from where I wrongly posted it. Can you guys please fix the problem with Shaft's endless turret rotation. You have no idea how much it has prevented us from saving flags and helping the team in tight situations. This has been going on for a year now, and you guys dont seem to care

    Weird Hack. Still Confused.

There's no chance that even a Shaft with Double Power can hit me when I got Double Armor and MU'd Winter paint. Like I said before, only a Double Powered M4 rail is capable of that. Anyways, now I know it wasn't a rail. Edit: I know this myself because I'm a Shafter, and only a Shafter. I feel the people talking saying it's a lag problem may be right, since I had a railgun fire right through me and nothing happened, although I had Double Armor. I guess then it's fair to close this topic. Thanks:)

I don't think there is any. Graffiti is pretty good too, but it's ugly and useless at blending in with surroundings in any situation. Winter is second in my opinion

No, there were no enemy Shafts, and I use Winter as my paint, so even Shafters can't one-shot me. No turret except an M4 Rail can one-shot me, but I saw no trace of a Railgun, and the person who seemed to have killed me was using Thunder.

    Weird Hack. Still Confused.

I was playing on the Serpuhov map, and was carrying a flag with all 3 supplies being used at the time. All of a sudden I got hit in one shot by nothing and a second later the enemy flag disappeared from where I was hit, with the "Enemy flag has been returned" message. Bear in mind that there was no tank near me, and the person who seemed to have hit my tank was a Wasp XT/Thunder. Although I saw who seemed to have destroyed me in the kill feed, I didn't call him/her out but I just asked what happened without saying any names, and that same person tells me to stop complaining. After a while, he/she left because we were winning. I confronted the same person in another match to find out what happened, but the player didn't reply at all. And no, my internet connection is fine and running well. This really looks like a well hidden hack, since I just joined the game and couldn't tell if anyone else faced it too. There's no way even a double powered Thunder could one shot a Double Armor Hornet. I have no pictures or video evidence that this happened, because it was sudden and never happened again. I'm not releasing the player's name in public till I find someone who can help me.

It's actually surprising, I never knew it was possible to take down 2 tanks with one arcade mode shot. Did that to 2 hornets a few days back.

Yep, faced it here. I see it a lot at Monte Carlo, generally against a drugging railgunner. Everytime they get to our base, once an enemy takes our flag, he takes his time to one shot me before he leaves. What if we imagined that, if the enemy priority was to destroy a Shafter to feel safe? What would you do and who would you counter-attack first? Let's assume a situation without druggers here.

Guys, are any of you still facing the auto rotating turret glitch? It's getting annoying now>:(

    Auto-Drug Mechanic?

    Is your computer secure enough?

    Let's Discuss Shaft!

I made the mistake of purchasing a Hunter instead of a Viking for my Shaft. The goal was to have a default hull with a good deal of speed (Hornet in my case), and later purchase a hull with more armor in case defense was a priority in battles. Although there isn't much difference between the two in terms of armor, it matters in a battle like crazy for me.

Well this isn't the topic for using drugs. And drugging doesn't prove that you're better. Fair fights with team work and using supply drops prove who's better.

Again, coming back to arcade mode, I destroyed around 2 or 3 tanks carrying flags(which were later saved) in just a single arcade shot on the Iran map. Oh, and if I'm not mistaken, 2 of them were on double armor, which proved a lot about how useful arcade mode is. Too bad my team was losing. It was a good team, everyone was playing well, but when you got heavy druggers on the other side, it ruins the fun:(

    Let's Discuss Shaft!

No, arcade mode is not useless. I've destroyed lot of weakened tanks with arcade mode mostly in one shot, and it really affects the game. It also saves your life a lot of times in dirty situations. Besides, if you know how to use arcade mode, you can go on the direct front attack and steal flags also

Did that before to 1 or 2 low ranked players who were at full health. I look forward to doing more of those once my Shaft becomes an M4

Well, if there's enough cover to sneak around, it does get fun you know.

Shafts a pretty decent anti-drugger weapon I've noticed

    Let's Discuss Shaft!

There's times when I've seen an enemy shafter playing so poorly, that I not only destroy him in the best (sometimes most humiliating) way possible, but I start ranting about how bad he is and that he makes us look like noobs, which only happened twice though, and I stopped doing it realising how arrogant I was getting.

    Let's Discuss Shaft!

Yeah, they do that to me as well. They don't like the fact that a Shaft keeps tormenting them and they can't do much, no matter how hard they try. I get really bugged up when druggers start ruining a clean game these days, and there's too many of them. When I see them drug over and over, I start drugging back and mess a bunch of them up. They deserve it when they want to ruin good clean games.

Going against Twins is suicide man, suicide, especially when they got a Viking or Hunter or heavier hull and a good anti-Shaft paint! Considering most Twins users just blindly shoot all over the map, it's hard getting rid of them at close range. The only best thing to do would be to keep running around them and switching direction time and again so you at least get to inflict as much damage as possible while still in arcade mode.

    Let's Discuss Shaft!

It's all about learning the reload time of each turret. In my experience, the turrets most immune to this are smoky and vulcan. Facing off with thunder, it would be better to do it as close as possible so splash damage is self-inflicted. Chances of winning against a bad Rico or Twins player than against a good one - its just about where you are positioned around them. Firebird and Freeze would get you before you can get them since short range is their special area. As for Shaft and Railgun, it gets fun going round in circles trying to kill them at point blank before they do you. Long reload time gives you an idea of when they will fire their next shot, which is usually immediately after reload is complete. At that point consider changing your direction of revolution just before they fire that shot so that they get fooled into firing away from you. Shooting the hull at the corners may also help divert their shots so you get an advantage.

Well I don't game much to end up teaching others, but if you did live nearby I'd teach you some bodyweight workout though:D
