Now that premium accounts are introduced in Tanki, I have a simple question: are the chances of getting an XT hull/turret from daily missions decreased in order to push players to buy premium account? Mine is not a criticism. I have nothing against "earning money" (as Ostrica said, everybody is free to play the game or not), but just a question to know if there's still hope in daily missions or just save loads of crystals. Well written topic. I like her stubborn temper and respect of fair play, cause I always thought that our temper in game reflects our lifestyle. She has chosen the hard path, following her ideal without vacillating. She can be a leader more than the 99% of players, cause she blindly believes on her moral ethics. There are players who would follow her if she creates a club or something like that, but she wouldn't follow anyone cause her mind is clear and she doesn't need an example to follow. She IS a model to follow (for those who want to follow those ethics in game).

An opinion is not an universal judgement. Topic says "Noob - an insult or not?", not "Should the word "noob" be a bannable act?" and a sociable human being interested on the topic, would give his/her point of view. Are you afraid you won't be allowed to "insult" people?

A word like "noob" is not an insult itself, but it makes you feel like you are inferior in the game and when somebody calls you like that without an apparent reason, it becomes an annoying mockery (another skill to improve: patience). It's important to distinguish when somebody calls you "noob" just to put you down or because you're actually inferior and you're a burden to the team. In that case, it's better to leave and "try another time".

I make an example. The word "*******" descends literally from the latin "niger", which means black, and this word wasn't considered an insult before the 1900's. The historical events gave a negative acceptation to that word. On the other side, the word "negroid", which is used by scientists to denote populations with anthropologic similarities (as the words "europoid" and "mongoloid"), hasn't a negative acception cause it's used scientifically, without any denigratory meaning. Every word has a literal meaning (which isn't offensive), but it's the way a word is used that makes it sweet, offensive, chic... and "noob" is mainly used to insult incompetent players or denigrate those who use a massive amount of drugs (usually without any sense, considering the exp points or crystals earned at the end of the battle). The fact friends call each others "noob" in a friendly way, doesn't clear its negative acception (same as if I say "lucky son of a *****" to a friend). So, for me, "noob" is an offensive word.
