Are M3 Twins a very good turret? I am pro with Twins BTW, so I can manage to decimate s with M2, but is it worth the crystals at my rank...or is there something I should get first? The only M3 Turret I have is Isida.

Twins is one of the best turrets in the game and officially my favorite turret for medium range. Regardless of Ricochet depending on my desire.

In short and medium range, yes, for that last question. Hunter M3 is better for long range.
