My clan faced some bad defeats and some hard wins in StarLadder, each of those battles made us rethink our strategies and create new plans but I feel like we're improving. Best thing to keep in mind is that everyone in Tanki is human, noone is unbeatable.

Russian clans are more experienced, yes. That is why I think we should play against them and learn, instead of staying in an amateur Cybersport level. Their experience didn't come from nowhere, they trained, they lost, they got better, that is the necessary process that our community's clans need to go through as well. Giving up and saying 'what's the point?' isn't the way to get better.
-
I repeat: beating noobs is more boring than fighting experienced players.
-
Has a chance for what? And the ratings are old, the top league clan isn't any better than some L3 clans which really have potential.
-
It's better to lose against proffesionals and try to win than fight noobs and instead of an exciting tournament have a long amd boring drag (recent DT tourney was exactly that). Competition is supposed to be hard.
-
Then what other disadvantages do you find in StarLadder?
-
I am aware that mostly people in this game are from Russia and Europe, the time is made suitable for these players, not for the minority.
-
When I compare English to Lithuanian, my native language begins to look impossible.
-
So why do you even aim for such players if tgey have no interest in being in a clan?
-
The leagues in our community are sorted out seriously wrong. And we have some potential L3 clans that should be top league.
-
90% Russians 10% others (of which the majority are from Europe with close time zones), so guess, why are the times Russia oriented? And beating their L3 and L4 clans is easy, L2 js where it gets tough.

But he actually understands the situation, unlike you.

Sad to see people are saying 25% diacoutns are worthless, back in the day that's all that we had.
-
From my experience, players don't like any draatic changes. The rebalance, update 123 and all of the afterbalances were heavily protested by many, if Tanki listened to every demand the players gave them, the game would look juat like it did as it got released and wouldn't progress any further. Devs won't make polls for declining an advanced cybersport system.

The time could only be changed if both clans agreed, if one was from America and the other one was from Europe, there is no way to find a perfect time for both teams. Only 2 American teams could arrange on a better time.
-
That's called dedication, something you need to have to succeed. And the times are perfect for ~95% of the players, most of Europe. How is the time for kids?
-
Standart time for the previous Dream Team tourney was 17:00 GMT I believe, same as StarLadder.
-
So why complain about bad timing, go and live.
-
The friend system or the chat is not a way to run a clan either...
-
I have played against them and L2 Russians, they aren't that far apart. Best English clan right now in my opinion.
-
If you have to make players come into the battle, it's not a clan.

StarLadder is not a freetime activity, it is something that makes this more than a game. Not coming to a battle due to the fact that you have to go eat is a lack of dedication. Russians are dedicated to win, their lives revolve around cybersport and they skip vacations, jobs and other things to be able to train or play. You can't expect to win if you treat important wars as a free time activity.
