no, if a paint has 30% protection from shaft it means that a shaft would deal 70% of the damage it would deal to a tank without that paint, it doesn't increase the armour, it decreases teh damage.

Yep I read every night too, and any long car journeys I have been known to read for 4 hours straight, XD At the moment I'm reading The Dissappearing Spoon by Sam Kean, it's all about the history of the periodic table and how each element was discovered, it's the best book I have ever read apart from The First Fifteen Lives Of Harry August.
