The damage is similar to the Railgun's minimum damage. When you get 3 of those shots with a fire rate close to Smoky, followed by a Railgun reload, it just isn't fair. There's just too much power in that. For the people saying that it is offset by the reload, it really isn't. The bad range helps. It's like giving a Railgun the reload of Thunder. Everyone would complain that it's OP. Same story.

I have never bought crystals, just straight up crystal boxes (when they were around) and battle fund. Garage: M0 Turrets- Twins, Ricochet and Thunder. M0 Hulls- Wasp and Hunter. M1 Turrets- Railgun, Firebird, Isida, Freeze, Smoky and Shaft M1 Hulls- Mammoth and Titan. M2 Turrets- None, soon to be Railgun once the New Year sale is out. M2 Hulls- Hornet Paints- Forester and Dirty. Debating about whether I should buy Sandstone.

I tested the new Magnum turret, it is not good in my opinion.

After reviewing this turret in the test server, it is not an alternative to Thunder. Thunder is much better than this turret because of the range that it offers. Also, you can barely see this turret's shot on another tank. You see the black soot after you fire, but it's so hard to see the pellets or bullets or whatever the ammo is actually hit the tank so you can't really tell if you hit another tank or not from range. I honestly would advise not buying this. Maybe it's better than Thunder at flag defending, but for everything else, no. Of course, this is my opinion, you are free to make your own conclusions. I just wanted to share mine.

I've seen it where a person gets 2 crits in a row. Ok, so you don't get 3 in a row. You can still get 2 in a row, then a normal, followed by a normal. If you did that with an M2 against M3 you would win with your M2. My point is, M3 Smoky doesn't necessarily have to win against M2. Chances are better, yes, but it's not set in stone.

I don't know, I somehow have a belief it will be OP. Then it will be re balanced, and not so great anymore. I think with the rail reload, and the 3 shots with smoky fire rate will be deadly if the damage is high. I can see it having similar damage to Thunder. I'll have to wait and see.

Tell me about it, I love rail. It's my main turret. Before I used to hate it, and I love it now. The amount of protection paints out there are annoying though. I think Hornet M2+ Tundra can survive Rail M2 drug hit. Correct me if I am wrong. And especially at Shad0w365's rank, many people (kit buyers) have digital or prodigy which makes life even worse. Minus the ridiculous paints, it's a great turret.

After re watching the vlog and actually realizing that it will have good range, I may use it as an alternative to my Railgun. I'll have to see in the Test Server how much damage you can do before you overheat and the cooldown time before you can re use it to the point of overheating, and compare it to Railgun's damage and reload in that time. Still, with this overheating feature, depending on how much damage you take per second it may be best to mount it on a heavy hull, like Titan. Can't wait for the Test to be open for it. The only issue that I can see with it is that its bullets wouldn't go through enemy and allied tanks in the same fashion that Firebird, Freeze, or Railgun do. So it maybe best for solo defending instead of mass.

^ Not necessarily. In layman's terms, Smoky M3 would win against Smoky M2 because one is an M3, and the other is an M2 so the M3 obviously has more power etc by Tanki mechanics. However, because of Smoky's unique critical hit probabilities, there is a possibility that the M2 could get 3 crits in a row and the M3 would not. Therefore, assuming that the paints and hulls are the same, the M2 would win. It's a rare scenario, yes, possible nonetheless.

I hate this turret, M2 and M3 1 hit me with double damage since I have no protection paints. And when you combine it with the fact that practically everyone who has M2 and M3 have digital or prodigy, my rail becomes useless. Still, I suppose that's why everyone loves it. Although, I would still never buy it since it doesn't really fit into my gamestyle. With my luck, I could be out with Thunder, and then a rail comes along and kills me.

I think it also has something to do with if you get hacked, then all your stuff will be gone cos they could just sell it. That being said, there's no way to move the crystals over anyway so I suppose you could end up re buying it. :lol: That's what I've heard, atleast.

If you use Chrome, try updating your Chromo. Go to the icon in the top right with the 3 bars, Click on it, then click on "About Google Chrome", then it should take you to where it checks if Chrome is up to date or not. If it isn't, then it will tell you and click update. It will get you the new Flash and hopefully reduce ping.

Yeah that processor isn't all that. As for as going for AMD though, I've heard that it can crash a lot or have problems. That graphics card is the one that I have and it isn't all that. Games like Far Cry 4 or GTA V, you couldn't play on that card, if that is what you want to do.
