Kits are becoming pointless with the paint separation, because no protection modules are in them. The percentages have gone as low as 15% off (look at Atlas). They give larger discounts for kits with expensive paints, and lower kit discounts with cheap paints. But lots of people don't even care about the paints, since they have no protections, so buying Atlas for 15% off basically gives someone Titan/Smoky m2, plus a paint that does almost nothing, for 182,070. Someone could buy Titan+Smoky separately for 207,700 crystlas, saving roughly 25k, which is not a great amount at that rank. That sounds bad enough, but kits w/ larger discounts with expensive paints also save you almost no crystals. Take Corsair. If you don't care about the Roger paint w/ no protections, you could buy twins+viking m1 for 54,400. OR you could buy the kit for 53,760, with the useless paint, saving a grand total of...640 crystals, assuming you don't care about Roger. So overall it's better to wait for a PD, and sometimes better to buy things full price. Kits are becoming obsolete with the paint update. All tanki needs to do is put protection modules in kits instead of paints.

As are many of us, I'm stuck in a dilemma about what to buy on the sale. I have 85k crystals, so my options are these: hammer m2, thunder m2, rico m2, or vulcan m2. Another option would be to get both rico and dictator m2, but that would wipe out basically all my crystals. I'm leaning away from vulcan, but can't decide between the rest. Currently the hulls I use are Hornet m2, Wasp m1, Viking m1, and occasionally titan m1. Thanks

Well darn it. I submitted an answer of "TankersDay" for the 7th slot, and the answer for that slot in all 3 scenarios was "TankmanDay." I checked the archives in the forum and the holiday for that year was, in fact, called "Tanker's Day" which would translate to an answer of "TankersDay" for the crossword. So "TankersDay" or "Tanker's Day" should count as correct answers for the 7th slot as well.

No, The percentages don't add up, you just get the 25% discount off what whatever price it shows in your garage. In this case, the discount should be about 40%, because you already have a 20% discount, and during the promotion you will get the 25% sale off of that original 20%.

now really. When you have lots crystals, there is a 0.0001% chance of a PD, when you have few crystals, maybe 2% chance. In other words, the chance of getting a PD is inversely related to the amount of crystals you have.
