[Issue 1] [Interview] S.C.Y.T.H.E and Federalissimo [UN]
stuartb replied to stuartb in [Issue 1] [Interview] S.C.Y.T.H.E and Federalissimo [UN] Archive
In this article I'm interviewing Federalissimo, S.C.Y.T.H.E firstly, did ever think you was going to be a staff/moderator? Federalissimo: I knew someday that I would become a staff member for Tanki, but i wasn't sure which position I would become. S.C.Y.T.H.E: I never really knew of this staff position until a few months before I applied. However, I did think that I had good enough writing to become one of them. But when the Applications were opened, it felt like a massive contest and it seemed incredibly unlikely that I would make it in due to my age, Karma and other reasons. When I Conan alerted me that I was one of the nine finalists, I was overjoyed and very surprised. And, I still remember the day when I logged into the forum to find my name in orange. Secondly, do you enjoy your job? Federalissimo: I really enjoy my job, being able to work with an amazing group and being able to help many people each day is just a great feeling. S.C.Y.T.H.E:Very much so! Its the best position in the staff in my opinion. Its very fun, as its something that I'd be doing on my own in the first place. Next what kind of person are you and what are your interests? Federalissimo: I am quite an optimistic person, I look into the future as something that will get better. Some of my interests are hanging out with friends, playing the drums. S.C.Y.T.H.E: Well, I'd say that I'm very skeptical and cool-headed. Its very difficult to get me excited. I love to write, play basketball and soccer. I am interested in pursuing a physics career, and to one day obtain a Doctorate (so that I can be calle Dr.Scythe, of course). However what's been the worst part of your tanki career? Federalissimo:The worst thing in my Tanki career was seeing my team members leave the team, that is just hard to process knowing you won't be working with them anymore. S.C.Y.T.H.E: It is hard to decide my worst moments. There are several fail-rific moments that I've experience in this game . One moment that I despise is the day that I bought shaft. (Do I need an explanation? ). Another terrible moment was when I got blocked for an hour for a false reason. This was very frusturating. And I've had more than my fair share of terrible gold fails, all of which make me want to quit ) Also, I was not a fan of the first rebalance, where I lost my beloved M3 Firebird and its blue flames. Finally, what's been the best part of your tanki career? Federalissimo:My best part of my career would be helping many people day by day and the appreciation and gratitude I receive from players using the Facebook page as support, it's really a great experience. S.C.Y.T.H.E:Best Moments: All the time . Actually, the moment that I mentioned previously, when I logged into the forum to find that my name was orange was pretty spectacular. Another great moment was when I finally got the Reporter Avatar and paint. Finally, my all time favorite moment in the game isthis video. Goodbye for now, Stuartb. Thank you for your answers and stay alert for the next interviews. Stuartb~¥~ -

[Issue 1] [Story] The life of the Otis family part 1 [UN]
stuartb replied to stuartb in [Issue 1] [Story] The life of the Otis family part 1 [UN] Archive
The life of the Otis family part 1 When the American, Mr.Otis bought canter ville castle, everyone told him that this was very foolish, as the place was haunted. But Mr.Otis answered, “I come from a modern country, where we have everything that money can buy”. And if there were such a thing as a ghost in Europe, we would have it at house in one of our museums. A few weeks later, on a lovely July evening, Mr.Otis, his wife and their children, Washington, Virginia and the twins, went down to their new home. When they entered the avenue of canter ville castle, the sky suddenly became dark and spooky stillness was in the air. Mrs Umney, the housekeeper, led them into the library of the castle, where they sat down and began to look around. Suddenly, Mrs.Otis saw a red stain on the floor just by the fireplace and said to Mrs.umney, “I`m afraid something has been spilt there. “Yes madam,” said the old housekeeper in a low voice, “blood has been spilt on that spot.” “How terrible” said Mrs.Otis; “I don’t want any blood-stain in my sitting-room. It must be removed at once.” The old woman smiled and answered, “It is the blood of lady eleanore de canterville, who was murdered on that spot by her husband, Sir Simon de canterville in 1575. Sir Simon disappeared seven years later. His body has never has been found, but his ghost still haunts the castle. The blood-stain is a tourist attraction now and it cannot be removed.” “That is all nonsense,” said Washington, the eldest son of the Otis family, “stain remover will clean it up in no time,” and he took a bottle of stain remover out of his pocket and cleans the spot. But as soon as the blood-stain had disappeared, a terrible flash of lighting lit up the room and a fearful peal of thunder made the whole building shake. -
[Issue 1] [Guide] Unofficial Guide for Fire and Wasp [UN]
stuartb replied to stuartb in [Issue 1] [Guide] Unofficial Guide for Fire and Wasp [UN] Archive
The Guide to a professional firebird and wasp tanker! At first this can sound a bit boring so people just give up and not even care. But in matter of fact it's not as boring has you expect there are lots of difficult spilt second decisions that confuses your mind instantly. Not to mention all the hardiest battles you can expect or least expect. Firebird and wasp maybe a bit expensive coming to m2s-m3s but it's worth every single crystal. So my first thing to you reader's please read article if you don't you will be missing out and if you're enjoy. TopTip1: understanding your map This is such a important feature you must need to become a great FW player (FW Firebird and wasp). Don't just choose a massive map or your favourite map pick a map with a short distance. Just like polygon its became a really popular map around tanki not just for FW battles but for XP battles (XP-railgun and hornet). It's short distance and you need a map with places to hide to kill your a enemy's tank which is the whole part of tankionline so polygon would be perfect. TopTip2: Choosing the right format This TopTip is a valuable one. If you think just choosing a map is all you need then your wrong you got to think about if you want to surprise your opponents by getting double power and blazing your opponents down it just little time. However if you did this with supplies that anyone can just put double power and cut your defence into pieces. Another feature is the use of MUs if you had no MUs to your turret or hull you will have a major disadvantage. If you decide to go with everything off it's perfect choose so you can show off your skill to your opponents. TopTip3: Choosing your opponents This is the most important thing about FW you will need to know to become a professional. This is done in a battle in a battle you would just go after the first opponent you see. That would be foolish if he had 3 tankers chasing him you would get caught and been burnt away from getting no points. So you see someone on their own that you could sneak upon and kill without being damaged. This would get you a great distance in your FW battling and making you a top opponent. TopTip4: Goldbox hunting This isn't really a tip but it is to a Goldbox hunter. Most of you know what a Goldbox is when the writing in gold colour "GOLD WILL BE DROPPED SOON". This point in a FW match everyone searches for the drop zone and then hides well they are making a huge mistake like knocking down the sky. At this point you need to hide but where no one is behind you. Make sure you're far away from the drop zone but not to far so when the Goldbox drops tankers run and shoot trying to get the Goldbox and your being the right person letting them kill them self's and you snatching the Goldbox when everyone died. Well that concludes this article and all its tips. Have fun doing FW matches with your friends and make sure you catch lots of Goldboxes. See you in the next article. Stuart~¥~ -

Contest [Issue 34] Continue the Story... Returns! [Chapter 1]

The life of the butlers When the British, Mr butler bought shockworth castle, everyone told him that this was very foolish, that he would be making a huge mistake because the place was haunted. But Mr butler ignored it and answered, “I come from a classical country, where we have everything that has some forms of history”. And if there were such a thing as a ghost in Europe, we would have it at house in one of our museums. A few weeks later, on a lovely July evening, Mr butler, his wife and their children, stuart, adele and the twins, went down to their new home. When they entered the avenue of shockworth castle, the sky suddenly became dark and spooky stillness was in the air.
