I also own Prometheus and Medic. This is probably the last kit I will ever buy, though. Except maybe Ejufallakylojokull (Pretty sure I butchered that). Hoping to get some good review material for these.

Something tells me that Atlas won't be making the rounds again anytime soon. If you're looking towards ranking up really fast, go with Fortress and drug like a lunatic. However, Viking M2 is a real steal at your rank, and if Vulcan's play style appeals to you more than Thunder's simple peashooter tactics, take it. I'd honestly choose Vesuvius over Fortress, to be honest, but that's in part to my resentment of using Thunder in general.

I bought the kit a while ago. You could ask me. ;)

Just to be that guy... Zero.

"Oh no! They destroyed my tank! Oh, but that's okay, because I respawn and get my tank back!" I toss you a cracked baseball with a nest of Brazilian wandering spiders living within it. Quick! They're all over your hand, and they're not looking happy! What do you do?!

Well, time to shake the dust off my Dictator.

Man, Wasp XT is a beaut! Now if only I was an 'issimo...

Being completely honest, the 40-percents and the lack of Micro-upgrades threw me off just a little. But, hey, it's still not a bad sale. Could be far, far worse.

It is indeed supposed to be such a high damage weapon. Digital's incredible resistance to Railgun shots reduces damage by near half. Normally, a Hunter would require two Railgun shots to finish it off, right? All of the weapon's power is concentrated in one shot, which means Digital reduces the effect at the same time upon impact, leaving you with (surprise surprise) much more health than you would have left had you ditched the paint. Rail is indeed a high damage per shot turret, and one tank having an incredible resistance to said weapon doesn't change the fact altogether. Shaft vs Railgun is a feud that will likely never see an end. In summary, neither is necessarily better than the other overall (since if you were to equip Jade or something of that nature on to your tank, the paint would have the same effect on Shaft rounds as it would with Digital's Railgun resistance, right? Under the logic you stand by, would that make Shaft a low damage weapon, too?), but there are certainly cases where one can outclass the other. For example, Shaft finds it very hard to keep up with Railgun in situations where enemies are in great numbers nearby. With Shaft needing to absolutely stop its movement, charge its cannon for at least a good three seconds, and then fire, rendering itself completely defenseless in the process, some can see the advantages of using Railgun in its place. While on the move, it can continue firing at a slightly faster rate than Shaft, making it better suited for universal conditions. Of course, if you are indeed looking for a specialist distance weapon, Shaft can easily outclass Railgun. With Mammoth, you can squat in one place and snipe like there's no tomorrow; with lightweight/medium weight hulls, you can travel the map for a safer post to guard. Yes, Railgun is capable of the same thing, but Shaft does this job with greater efficiency by dealing more damage when at full sniping power. Just figure out a way to hide that irksome laser sight (honestly, since we already had crosshairs, I feel the addition of this contraption is redundant to the user. Yes, I know, it was created to prevent Shaft from becoming too powerful, but still...) before firing, and everything will be fine. Shaft is more of a specialist weapon than Railgun. That doesn't necessarily mean that it's better than Railgun. I'd say they have equal powers within the game's borders, just possibly in different sections.

Have a little patience, they'll be coming eventually. -
Usually, when I see a Wasp/Vulcan, I automatically think free food. Just sayin'.

By the way, what was in that old Heavy M3 kit? It's been so long that I can't remember...
