The more I see and hear abt TOX, the more I like even the current TO. The Unity version looks so cartoonish and colorful ... nothing in common with the initial dark atmosphere and the simplified, battle-like graphics ... In these Unity maps I almost expect Winnie the Pooh or the Little Ponies to come out of the tall grass ... it is so detailed, so bright, so mild ... no call for aggression, nothing harsh and violent to remind that this is actually a war game ... such a childish appeal makes me sick, really ... Initially I was disgusted by this cheerful TOX ... then I realized, that the best that can happen is to have this TOX finally alive, so that all noobs&kids move there to wander around, collect their golds, etc and leave the adequate players in the original TO with whatever graphics it is ... I only want the old, slow, physics back, nowadays tanks are too fast for any serious strategy, not to mention that they behave like sports cars ! You see, for me (and not only) a rectangular box with a stick to represent a tank is perfectly fine ! It's the gameplay that matters ... one doesn't need any sophisticated shapes or twisted gamma to have an intriguing game ! Alas, this cannot happen, because the devs have proved quite incapable of running even the current version, let alone two practically identical ones. These alternative guys have managed to turn a captivating and dynamic project into a plain and dull children's habitat, forcing most of their initial supporters to quit ... or migrate to the forum )))

you have some good points here ! yet, as for drugs ... I like them, I would like them to remain and with no CD, but kind of modified .... like, if one is activated let it boost 50%, if two - 25-30%, if all three at once - only 15-20% enhancement ... and to have their effect lasting 1-2 minutes - this will help a more long term planning when utilizing them

agree reg the last paragraph - putting a stress on the non-buyers is only logical, no ? They have to feel uncomfortable in order to eventually decide to invest and ease the pain ... and in TO we are talking abt really token money, that can buy you a mol decent comfort

A good illustration of the grim future TO is heading to ! The devs are now exclusively targeting juveniles - turning the game into playground for kids will completely wash out the little adequacy that has remained here ...

good post, though - makes sense in most of its parts and makes me take some notes ! surely, I am not generalizing abt age, but it's one mindset till 25-30 and quite different after that ... usually (yet not necessarily) for the better ))) and ... yours is kind of sad ... it's implementing that what was once lost in TO RB 2012 might never be the same again ... but there's hope still - the devs are working hard to make the population small again - the online is steadily decreasing year by year ))) so, what's the fun for me here ??? Me and my few associates (we're of different ages indeed) have to harass the poor noobs ... as a kind of revenge for the good game-play they taken from us ... and because there's simply nothing else left to do ... ???

Exactly my point - a mature person is obliged to keep one's "integrity" and "responsibility" even if incognito ! That's why teens and kids don't belong here - team games are not suitable for them in general ... and surely TO is not an appropriate place for juveniles - there are plenty of one-character games out in there, that need little brains if at all !

Let me try to explain a veteran's point of view. When I started here arnd 6 years ago, the contingent was well mature, initially the game was rated 18+ and the battles were took really seriously. We were (many if not most of us) grown up people with established habits of discipline and team-work and on top we played with passion and dedication that excluded any leisure riding along. Joining just for fun and not playing with determination to help your company win - well, that was so rare ... almost unthinkable. How can you enter a team mode and ask for parkour or ask for Gold or ask for peace or join just to linger around ??? All these show a total lack of integrity and responsibility - teens have no understanding of that, it's just that their age spares them many moral issues. Alas, step by step, the game was being made noobs and kids friendly and adolescents started to plague the servers. Now ... it's like a kindergarten ... just look at any random battle - tankers either dash to the enemy base or simply sit and shoot with no clear understanding of their duties, respective to their equipment - there are no defenders, no midfielders, no attackers, no supporters - just one amorphous mass in Brownian motion, waiting for Gold ... what more to say ...

I am here for so long, that just have to stay until they shut the lights off ... nostalgia keeps me in and the hope that sooner or later Alternativa will have to pass the project to some capable developer

I confirm my claim - people with such mentality are quite so often losers, dragging their company down and regarding the TO gameplay - such individuals should be banned for sabotage if they join a team mode and do NOT actively use supplies to win ! case closed !

My young padawan - don't save on crystals (or money) ! Earn them, spend them - get OP kits, get fun, enjoy the game ! ! Remember - in TO (and often in real life, btw) economy leads to misery, misery leads to suffering, suffering leads to anger and there you are onto the Dark side )))

Dude, just think twice before you spit out something stupid ! TO is not just cheap - it is ridiculously cheap ! One only needs some 50 euro or USD per month to buy quite a decent level of comfort here ... and these are just token money - several good ales in a pub ... If you speak of expensive onlines - look at E.V.E. onlne ! There, a capital ship, like a Titan, would cost you over 5k usd and if you lose it in battle, you lose it forever ... just remember the Bloodbath of B-R5RB, when game items worth over 300k usd were evaporated in a single clash !

Supplies are available to everyone ... and after all TO is such a cheap game - it's easy to afford whatever you want. Yet, I reckon that some individuals either like suffering or are complete miserables who want to play for free ... or their religion does not allow for drugs ))) Only losers do NOT drug ... to have an excuse for being such ... and more - I think that if one goes into a random team mode without sufficient supplies to withstand a 15-minute game, then this should be considered as sabotage to the team - clearly the fighter does not play at his full capacities

I am amazed by reading positive feedbacks ! Knowing the notorious incapability of the devs and having in mind that every update is better than the next one, I don't understand how reasonable people can expect the tomorrow Rebalance with a calm heart ... not even talking about any enthusiasm here ... just remember Rebalance No1 ... Actually, I believe that the number of positive posts strongly correlates with the number of kids and/or noobs in TO ... a wide-spread disease for the last few years ! These Permians have managed to do what seemed unthinkable - systematically have ruined a once fascinating game, downgrading it to the level of 10-15 year old kids. I am so sad, that TO is being forced into oblivion in such a gruesome manner ...
