Why do Railgun and Hammer get different ratings? You mentioned the only weakness for both of them is the same: Reload time. So where's the difference? Also, I think that Firebird does better on Polygon than you think, as there is only one point, and enemies will be more concentrated at the point than in Cross, which has 3 points and is smaller. Other than that (plus Hunter missing) great article! :D

I would get golds like this, and I know I can, but I rarely have a good enough connection to catch them in midair :( I've only taken a few drop boxes in midair, but most of the time, my tank lags out so that I don't get it, and even when I leave the drop and come back, I can't get that one at all unless someone else gets it and a new one falls in that location.

Ah, yes. That is because of something called DRUGGING. When you have Fire/Freeze and DD, you are of course going to be unstoppable. Especially if you then use a Repair Kit. And anyways, the armor increase isn't that significant. With forester, my Viking could almost survive two Rail shots, but just almost. Now, with Forester (MU'ed to the top) I can barely survive two rail shots, but just barely. It's only a few HP extra.

How about you focus on the team's flags/point/kills total? That's how you can tell if it ends early.

@Celestial_Maelstrom: I'm not experienced in those modifications, but this I think applies for these choices at any mod. Option 2 is probably the smartest, but that requires one thing: Patience. I don't have it, so I wouldn't do it. But I don't know if you do. If you do, go for it. Also, it seems like you really want Smoky M2, and that option takes the longest to get it, so another reason I wouldn't do it. Options 1 and 3 depend on what maps you like, of course, but I actually manage to use Thunder well even on small maps when I have Wasp, Hornet, or Hunter. However, I know Firebird is especially effective at M2 and M3, so that would be good too. If you choose 1 or 3, since you plan on getting M3 Thunder as soon as you can, choose Thunder M2 (option 1). Overall: Choice 2 is best in the long run if you like being patient. Of course, the longer the wait, the more your patience comes into the matter. If you're patient or you rank fast, choose this. 1 + 3 are good if you're not patient. Since you're going to get M3 Thunder when you can, go with M2 Thunder. @deadtoyou: no :mellow: jk
