Rest in peace Charlie :)

So far there have been only four correct entries. And, just some important stuff: Attention! I'll be changing the deadline of this contest and move it a bit back, due to time restraints. I'll be on holiday for the remaining month and will have really less time making results. I hope this is 'okay' for all you and that you could all get your entries in before December 25th, 2016. Enjoy!

Zenith, new name, Sagittarii, and an even new name, @Zenyth is now an official reporter, but on hiatus. You will now see his content in the Tanki Online Newspaper.

Approved. Edits: Three typos corrected, and Standard/General re-designing (to make it look better) A useful tip: Using different fonts and colors (but not too much) will attract more people to your article, since the use of them can make the article look more beautifully written. Hope to see more productive material from you, good luck!

Don't start arguing for the sake of it. It's called flaming and can result in an official warning/ban. You raised points about battles that are empty. In fact, you don't even understand how the mechanism works: the Developers said that if all available battle are full, then the server will make a new one and send you to that battle. Now, please. And finally, don't raise issues of the developers paying me to write this. It's my choice whether or not I want to write article. I wrote this article and they paid me, not the other way. It doesn't work like the developers generating 'free money' into your account. We have to do things greater than people imagine to earn those rewards. Also, Tanki doesn't think 'lowly' of its customers. It can't please everyone. Someone wants thing A and the other wants thing B. You can't release updates after updates after updates. They are human beings, not robots. Tanki's database hasn't been decreasing like you, or some other people again. Log in on some special occasion and see how many people are playing. They are there, just not 24/7. And lol, nobody has an attitude of selling their customers. If one wants to read my article, welcome. No? Then also welcome. There's a whole lotta other stuff to read. So you are comparing articles with apps? Two different worlds dude. 9v1 is how the game works. It was just an unbalanced match. Probably a higher equipment ratio on one side and mults on the other. I also said that this button will become more efficient with time. Hope you understand, thanks!

Just to clear some issues, I will rate each entry and then choose the first five of those best entries. So if there are seven entries which pass the rating test, the first five will be chosen winners.

All except that one is wrong. Might wanna change that - I told you, relating isn't allowed. That's correct. Its ok. You can do that picture. I've been very busy with real life. (exams to be exact) Sorry :)
-
Approved. Edits: - Some spellings and grammar, - General justification and designing.
-
They are coming back. Who knows, I might make it a real contest :P
-
Well, I for one, do really like the Battle button. I don't waste time making a battle. But that's just my opinion. It's a relatively new feature that has been added into the game guys, be patient. It will get better ;)

Scavenger hunts are always based on who finished first. You still have time, there are only four correct entries yet ;)

Contest [Issue 61-64] Parkour Challenges I
Hex replied to Hex in [Issue 61-64] Parkour Challenges I Newspaper Archive
After a lot of requests, it's finally here. Consisting of a series of challenges, this contest makes a tanker experience something more than just parkour: it opens up a whole new dimension for flipping and conquering. So without further ado, I proudly present... *dramatic drumroll* the first second (noob Acno) ever Tanki Online Newspaper parkour contest! _______________________________________________________________________________________________ Introduction: Under this section, you will find three challenges. You will have to shoot a video of you performing those challenges. Each challenge has a quirky catches or requirements to it. You must fulfill these requirements; for if you don't, your tank will be cursed with eternal face-plants. However, there are a wee bit of limitations as to how you record yourself doing these challenges. You must, at all times, keep names visible in the video. The 'Tab' key should also be pressed once in a video. For each challenge, you can do three tricks. For instance, if a challenge requires you to climb a certain building, you can show up to three tricks of you conquering that building. Time for the challenges. The Challenges: Challenge #1 - Climb the central building in the map Bridges. Video Requirements: The names of all players must be visible in the video. The 'Tab' key must be pressed once in the video. You can showcase up to three tricks of the way you attempt to climb this building. The most creative, decent and dramatic video shall win. Maximum Team Members: 4 Prizes: (Divided) First place: 80 000 Second place: 60 000 Third place: 40 000 Link to Google Form: - Challenge #2 - No Hammer, No Railgun! Video Requirements: All you have to do is shoot a parkour video in which you show us three tricks of you and your teammates climbing big buildings without using Hammer or Railgun. The 'Tab' key must be pressed once in the video. The names of the players must be, at all time, be visible in the video. The most creative, decent and dramatic video shall win. Maximum Team Members: 4 Prizes: (Divided) First place: 80 000 Second place: 60 000 Third place: 40 000 Link to Google Form: - Challenge #3 - I Believe I Can Fly... Video Requirements: All you have to do is shoot a video in which you attempt to "fly". Longest air time wins! The maps Madness and Esplanade are not allowed! The battle timer (in the down-right corner of the screen) must, at all times, be visible in the video The names of the players must, at all times, be visible in the video. The most creative, decent and dramatic video shall win. Maximum Team Members: 5 Prizes: First place: 80 000 Second place: 60 000 Third place: 40 000 Link to Google Form: - The Judges: Your videos will be judged by a jury, consisting of two people: @SwiftSmoky, a parkour revolutionist and... , a little newbie who feels happy when he climbs a box. There you have it folks, the judges of this contest. Contest Rules - IMPORTANT: Make sure you read these rules in addition to the rules labeled under 'Video Requirements' under each challenge. These are very important and will decide whether you are in or out of the contest. Send your videos to @SwiftSmoky and through the aformentioned Google Forms by clicking on the respective links. Every challenge has a different link, so make sure you follow and post your challenge video in the right form! The title should read: Parkour Challenge #X Video, where X is the number of the challenge you have done. Other than that, no text is to be messaged to us, only the video is required. Any questions should be asked in a PM, in which both of us are included. Please read all the video requirements before attempting that challenge! Attention! Due to the contest being hard and big, it will remain open for two-three whole months, probably till April until I get enough videos to judge from. The results will likely be posted in May. Note that I may change the rewards depending on the number of entries I get. More entries = bigger rewards. The deadline of this contest is 1st May! Important - Categories: As of April 14th, the contest has been split into two categories: Normal Category Space Category Space Category's rewards will be slashed by fifty percent, as parkour in it is super-easy. However, the rewards for the Normal Category will remain the same. So, what are you waiting for? There are buildings to be climbed and flips to be made! Go for it!- 59 replies
