The time zone doesn't matter as your browser will be automatically set to the correct region. The error usually happens when the date/time on your PC is wrong as mentioned. Developers have previously mentioned there are additional payment processing costs for different countries hence the price discrepancy.

While I don't doubt that Tanki's objective is to maximise returns I am not sure they would be investing so much development time for new features if they were expecting a 'tipping point'. Surely the more logical approach to that strategy would be to spend as little money as possible whilst also maximising returns.

You could be totally correct in that it may be event maps are unoptimized but you also ignore the fact that it's quite likely that Tanki has switched server providers or changed their plan since the 100k+ days.

Pretty much every single modern browser will support it barring Internet Explorer if you can even consider that modern.

There are countless such accounts on the ratings site, the anomalies come down to either the account being an old one preceding the ratings site or that the account belongs to a helper or employee of the game for a specific test or event. Its pretty difficult if not impossible to find out the exact reasons since there have been so many events etc.
