Technically clearing the cache shouldn't be necessary but still useful if something goes wrong. And to permanently delete you press, Shift+Delete. ;)

Welcome tankers, to this useless but fun article! __________________________________________________________________ A- Alternativa Platform. Alternativa are guys who developed Tanki Online since its birth, they are a Russian based company have developed two games so far, Tanki Online and Tanki X. B- Brains The brains behind TO were Anton Volkov and Alexander Karpovich , they originally developed a game named 'Tanks for two' back in the early 90's, based on the original game, they then founded Alternativa and Tanki became as we know it today. C- Cedric Debono Cedric is the English community manager, he is employed by Alternativa and aids communication between English community players and the developers, he also attends some Tanki fan meetups and events and he is also a forum administrator. D- Dimension The average prop size in Tanki is five meters. A prop is what maps are constructed of, things such as buildings and walls are made of individual props arranged in a similar fashion to brickwork. E- English The EN community is the second largest in TO, with Russia being coming first. The EN forum currently has almost half a million members. F- Firebird Firebird has the highest damage per second rate of any turret in the game. Many players enjoy an unofficial battle format called Fire/Wasp due to the high fund it generates, developers are considering implementing this in the game along as they have with the XP/BP format. G- Game Tanki Online is a game. Yes, really. H- Height Rio has the highest building in the game, when the map was first introduced Tanki set a reward of 1M crystals to the first team to reach the top. The winners were a German team. Not many tanks have reached the top and it is regarded as the hardest parkour challenge in TO. I- Internet Tanki is purely an online based game, there have been numerous requests by players to create an offline version, this has been rejected by developers saying that TO was never intended to be an offline game and never will be. J- Justin Bieber Justin is not a Tanki Online developer nor is he Godmode_On, in truth, he has nothing to do with the game at all. K- Kasim Kasim is the Russian V-Log presenter, he has been an employee of Alternativa since Tanki was first introduced. Kasim also accompanies Cedric during the fan meetings and events. L- Love There are two love related paints in TO, 'In Love' and 'First Love', whatdaheck? M- Mults Mults are seen by many as a plague in the game, they are tanks that enter the battle and serve no purpose except in DM mode, so far, no satisfactory cure has been found. N- Name Names for Turrets and Hulls in Tanki are voted by players. O- One Million The millionth player registered on Tanki on December 19, 2010 . Currently the game has over 35M registered accounts. P- Post There are currently 2,743,890 posts on the EN forum alone. Across all the communities there is a grand total of I can't count that much posts. Q- Quality This is a quality article, k? R- Race for gold RFG is an unofficial mode introduced by a user called that_one_michael, to play; a Goldbox should drop and a user must equip mammoth and a short range turret then go to a designated start line, whoever reaches the Gold first shall take it and win. S- Signs The signs in maps usually have a Tanki logo on them, however at special events such as Tankers Day this changes to another pictures representative of the event. T- Tester A dedicated team of TO testers try every new feature before it is released in the game, sometimes such tests are conducted publicly on the test servers. U- Ugly Isida/Titan is regarded by most as the ugliest combination in the game, Viking/Thunder is a close second. V- Viking Viking is the most stable hull in the game, it is most commonly used with Thunder or Isida and measures 5.2 meters in length. W- Warrant Officer The Warrant Officer ranks are the most numerous in the game. X- X-mas Christmas is the only religious holiday celebrated in Tanki, during the celebrations, decorative elements are added to the maps, this is accompanied by garage sales and unique gifts. Y- Y8 Tanki Online has a rating of 92% on one of the biggest game review sites, Y8.com. Z- Zoo The only zoo related thing in TO is Mammoth. _________________________________________________ That is all, spot the mistake(s)! See YOU in battle!

First impressions of the Tanki Online client
Ninja replied to Ninja in First impressions of the Tanki Online client Writers' Corner
First impressions of the Tanki Online client When I first mentioned about writing this article someone suggested that I write 'it works', I think there's slightly more to it. :D After a few weeks of teasing the TO Client finally became available to download last Friday (9th September 2016). Having downloaded and installed the client I decided to write an article about it and what I think could be improved. The client is in its first version which is effectively beta therefore it doesn't include any extra features such as multiple account support. Remember how long Instagram took with theirs? 1: Downloading and installation. Downloading and installing the client is as simple as it gets, simply go to the TO homepage and click 'Download' button and it begins immediately, the file size is 8.9 MB. When the download is completed; double click on the file and follow the installation wizard, this is straight forward should only take a few seconds. Windows Defender may pop-up with a message saying 'Windows protected your PC' or something similar, it is completely safe to use so click 'More info' then 'Run anyway'. 2: The imperfections and problems. 1) When re-opening the client it automatically reverts to Russian and doesn't remember your language selection. 2) The Windows full screen mode isn't usable. 3) For me 60fps was consistent with no stuttering even in large maps, however lag seems to be worse, I have a PING of 10-50 in Chrome though in the client this was worse at 30-250. 4) I also had more critical errors than I could poke a stick at, speaking of... 5) When you get a critical error or lose your connection there is no way to re-enter the battle without losing your score. 6) Joining battles through links isn't possible. 7) Loading times are mostly hugely improved but they can be very inconsistent. 9) Sometimes triggers Windows Defender warnings. 10) When clicking the red X in the corner the client closes rather than signing out. 3: Improvement suggestions. 1) Add a battle history log of all the battles you've entered. 2) Implement the ability to paste in battle links. 4: Opinions. Here I will link some of the opinions left by users in the official topic and ask some users opinions. What are your thoughts on the new client? @falcosenna1 My first thoughts are quite positive. I like the idea of the client as everything loads way faster. It's very easy to log into the game via my desktop. I don't need to open any browsers to log into my account or to get links for Standalone Flash. The current downsides are errors that occur quite regularly and the inability to refresh the client. If it happens in the heat of a battle, you must access the game via Standalone Flash or a browser to not lose your score and to not miss your chance on winning some extra crystals. I tried -unsuccessfully- to get more opinions, so instead here are some useful links. @VirtualWildHogs A great temporary solution to the fullscreen mode issue. Read it HERE. @KIngJack21 Another great solution for the fullscreen mode issue! Read it HERE. Suggested a useful screenshot feature.Read it HERE. Most other problems faced by players seem repetitive so I won't include any more. 5: Conclusion Though the client offers great potential; I suggest you carry on using a browser or Standalone Flash, there are simply too many bugs with the client to make it a smooth experience. Hopefully I won't say this about the next version. That is all. Don't forget to like! See YOU in battle! -
