  1. There is a way to surrender: You leave the game. Don't ruin the battle for those who want to get the loser's share of the battle fund.

  3. So in a close CTF battle, with evenly skilled and numbered Tankers, a score of 10-9 stops the game. How does that represent an uneven battle or a clear winner? If you're going to impose caps, they should be on a score gap of <x>, not on an absolute score.
  4. Like jig, I'm a seasoned IT professional. The level of tweaking in the game needs to be slowed way down. There are a number of bugs you could fix, like the way Shaft sometimes just spins after a respawn. Annoying and impacts the game more than long battles. Fix the bugs, then think about tweaks.
  5. The CTF scores are way too low. I've seen games where one team was down 5 or more flags, a better set of Tankers joins the down side and turns the game around. Those are VERY interesting games and would be lost under this scheme. A better scheme is to base the cutoff on the score gap versus the time remaining. For CTF, something like 5 flag gap and less than 1 minute remaining 8 flag gap and less than 3 minutes remaining 12 flag gap and less than 5 minutes remaining More than 5 minutes, let it play. As for DM, I don't see any justification for any early cutoff at all. Let those games run. TDM and CP might benefit from this change, but I don't really see how.
  6. Heavy hulls most definitely have a place on large maps! I enjoy playing Shaft/TItan on large CTF maps, like Rio, Sepuhov, Monte Carlo, and even Lost Temple. Once you get to know the best spots on the map, it's easy to rack up high numbers of kills while avoiding being blown up. There are good places to park on most of these maps which limit your exposure to attacks from light/medium hulls and give you time to swing the turret and eliminate them. You do need to get over a fear of being blown up. Of course, no one likes having to respawn. But, sometimes you have to stay focused on one target and end up also being taken out. It's all for the benefit of the team. Heavy hulls work better with some turrets than others. I like playing Smoky, too, but I would never put Smoky on my Titan. I've seen a few case where Isida/Titan was used effectively in a defensive mode. Having the healer with a thick skin can be a benefit to a team. On the whole, though, heavy hulls work better with long range turrets on big maps where there is room to find and destroy opposition targets.
  7. Shaft aim is still off. The ( ) camera focus is off from the + aim point. For me the camera focus is down and right from the aim point, but the shot goes at the camera focus. Even with mouse controls turned off, the aim is off. I do understand that you're trying to add something to the game, but I would ask that you revert the mouse controls patches until these bugs are worked out. Thanks.

    Yes, I'm also having this problem. Others in the EN4 server chat were reporting it, too.
